There is so much good here to be proud of. We are excited to be here to help move things forward in a sustainable way that features so much of the things that make this an amazing people and place.
Meanderbug omg of course good luck I visited Montenegro some years ago. I guess you run a travel company there. More and more people will be coming, I wish they were still with Serbia though. LOL.
Meanderbug I see you go to Albania. That must b amazing. I have always wanted to go there. I studied their folklore years ago! Genetically they are close to Montenegrins. Cheers my friend.
@@chicagomike We do have an agency here with a primary online booking presence. We are developing rural tourism "farm stay" as a way to help locals have sustainable income and open access for travelers into some amazing nature and culture spots that have not been accessible before. This is based in Montenegro, but we see it growing to the Balkan region. If you have people in Serbia that fit what we are building, let us know.
Meanderbug I studied the balkans and it’s great u are doing this! Very good luck. Actually I am American with a Serbian lineage but from many years ago. I don’t have any contacts there since we left over 100 years ago. I am sorry. There are Balkan enthusiasts here, so I will let them know. These people are into the culture history and folk music. We are non political and progressive.
Hi split 3D, sorry for the slow reply. Thanks for the encouragement! The lake in question is Kapetanovo Jezero. And, BTW, we are releasing a new video in 2 days that has this area featured.
Amazing Video ! and beautiful country. I have read that you film this video in October. I plan to travel to Montenegro at the end of April. Is there still Snow in the mountains? Thx
Hi Laurent. Sorry for the slow reply. Usually there is still snow on the mountains then, but this has been a bad snow year. Montenegro had a lot over the past week, so we'll have to see in 4 to 6 weeks how things are looking for the end of April. Reach out to us if we can help you plan your travel to explore the authentic side of Montenegro.
Most of this was shot in October. However, we did pull some things out of our drone video archive for some shots for a bit of footage in places like the Tara Canyon. We also did some later in the year shooting for the Durmitor scene at the end. One of our goals with the piece was to show the beauty across the country with a glimpse of the different scenic views a traveler can have across the seasons.
Sure. This is Kapetanovo Jezero on Lukavica. It is a great plateau for easy to moderate level hiking. If we can help with anything else, just let us know. We do have a good number of farm stay partners in this area. ;)
Thanks for the encouragement! This video was not in partnership with the government. They do try to be supportive of what we are doing, though. The Meanderbug farm stay initiative fits squarely in their top tourism objectives moving forward. So we are continuing to try to meet and have conversations as helpful. We are committed to moving forward as it is good for the people and it is a great experience that we want to help outsiders experience as well.
Meanderbug I hope the Ministry of tourism and sustainable development of Montenegro appreciate your work. I also hope that local National tourism organisation offices and municipalities provided some support. Next time tag me here when you are about to visit Montenegro again :-)
To bad you didn't show how the local Balkanators drive them roads? That would be an on the edge of your seat experience, talking about roads in Montenegro. If it's posted 80kms/hr they will be doing 180kms/hr. There is no regard for others or safety. ps. Wonderful geography. Don't forget top foreign insurance because you'll probably need it on a longer stay.
Thanks for your input, Darcy. Yes, the driving here can be a bit stressful for sure. However, we are seeing a move toward more orderly driving over the past 5 years. There are still challenges with narrow roads, difficult terrain, and some drivers that don't have high regard for the safety of others, but we are celebrating a move toward what seems to us to be a safer experience than before.
Not sure about your question. The car is a Russian build. It is a Lada Niva 4x4. The couple at the beginning of the video are Montenegrins with two American guys throughout the length of the piece. The scenery is all Montenegrin.
4 dislikes? Whats problem with these people .... beautifuel nature and landscapes well done... thanks from Montenegro !
Good question! Thanks for the encouragement!!!
I am proud because i am montenegrian 🇲🇪♥️

Great video!!!
Thanks Esam to you and your dad for keeping the Niva running well!
One of the great quotes of all time came from your family's garage, "a Lada Niva is like a table with 4 wheels." We love our 4x4 drivable table. ;)
Im glad that the Niva's running well :) and you are welcome :) :)
Meanderbug im very glad :)
Hello, guys! Can you, please, help me? Which place is on 1:22 ?
