StormedAgate64 don’t listen to him, deep cycle batteries aren’t good for Audio they are made to provide lower current over a long period of time whereas a starting battery is made to throw out a lot of current over a short period of time and that’s what you want in audio, but you definitely need more power those taramps do not like anything below 12 and I saw it dropping into the mid to low 11s, you’ll have a burnt up amp and smoke show sooner or later
@@teamlowbassnation7306 your correct, starting batteries will release current very quickly and charge up very quickly in between every time the bass, (hits) deep cycle are slower and just have a long duration output for less power, that's why they should stay in a marine application. If you can't afford expensive, stinger, kinetics, and many other (car stereo batteries) 1 or 2 regular starting batteries are a cheap way to help. And a higher output alternator or even a second alternator.
Actually starter batteries are harder to charge. they don't accept A charge as well as deep cycle batteries. Starter batteries start to become damaged once their charge drops below 75 - 70% of their capacity several times and wont fully charge whereas deep cycle batteries can be drained down to 45% - 25% of the capacity several times without being damaged.
I had them Orion hcca and listen to me there Beast. Take whatever you put that damn as long as it's clean and don't clip them as far as sound deadener goes don't waste your money on it use foam in a can
You need more power and ground runs to your amp, as you sit right now youre lucky to be clamping 1500w. Secondly scrap the marine battery and get an agm or lithium battery. Marine are meant to take high loads yes but constant draw. They dont handle fluctuating loads luke an agm or lithium cell can. You can be running 80amps then 90amps, then 120amps the 70amps and its all in a matter of seconds this happens. The load always changes with impedance. You have a lot to learn young grasshopper

Or just go yellow top optima
That sub needs four of those to move like it should. You'll learn keep learning
The amp was plenty big enough I just didnt have the electrical for it.🙂
@@OBSDually what size alternator did you install?
Also did you use a new battery? If so, what type?
Not sure if ur still running similar set up but try and reverse ur polarity
Why
That orion is hardly flexing and still knocking hard af. Haha
Nice video but you gotta upgrade that electrical bro voltage all over invest in some batteries bro and that sun can take more power you probably get another 3k and do 1 amp per vc
Also a 5k rms sub.. under powered
You sound like you're 15yrs old or something.. Geez.. Starting young huh? Great Vid man!
I'm 16 and I already invested around 600$ just in bass. I dont even have a driver license haha, in my country you have to be 18 to get one
Vlad BC same im 15 nd get paid 500
I'm 15 And had my first system when I was 14 all it paid for by myself
I'm 15 and got into bass and head units when I was 14. Started off with a 600 watt sub 800 watt amp now i have a 1500watt amp on a 1250watt sub. In a couple months I'll have my license and I'll be the loudest teen pulling up to high school lol
Dam that lil taramps pulling voltage like that???
nice subs I love Orion hcca subs I have 2 15 spl on a Orion hcca 8k amp I would get rid of the amp and Walmart battery and get a ca battery and Orion hcca amp get the 5k amp and you should be able to give the sub the power it needs
Is your amp the 1 ohm 2 ohm or 4 ohm model? Also how many ohms is your subwoofer wired too??
Why y’all hating so much, looks sick bro
Thx bro, check out the latest updated video!

That's awsome man...I'm thinking about getting a taramps 3k on one 15....what's the name of that second song u played?
Matthew Montes August alsina downtown
You should be at 14 volts at giddy up tho. What kind of battery in the front?
Its a normal battery nothing special plan on upgrading the batteries and alt soon. Check out my update video to see some of the changes already! this is a older video
Clean up those amp wires a bit scares me just looking at that copper hanging out like that I'm 17 with a big system of my own I used to have wires the same way until one day a wire grounded out and fried my amp now I'm rebuilding a system with 2 sundown sa 12s on 1600 watts even as much as putting electrical tape over the copper will help just trying to help a fellow basshead out
Jacob The Bassman having exposed wire is just not safe anyway. It's probably fine for bare wires on a lower power set up(which this isnt)but still having clean wiring is worth the time
I have 2 sundown sa 15 on the Rockford 2000.1 and that bitch is slappn I push one a lil to hard and blew it but will still hurt people with the 1! I'm liking sundown forsure
@@putyourpursedownfellersand7353 sundown is expensive for no reason. Just get Skar audio they arnt that expensive at all but are quality as hell.
@@bicklebopjr298 yeah the vxf's slam really hard in right box it slam's as much as a zv5 I currently have a evl 18 looking to get a vxf 12 someday.
@@BenaresDarkness you should look at the ZVXv2s they are better
I HEARD NOT A LOT ABOUT THE AMP WHAT DO YOU THINK NOW
Shit will blow if it stays like that. Mate
Hey little homie what you got to do is get that box and throw it as far away from your truck as you can that speaker you have is capable of doing way lower notes get a custom box designed Maybe like a 4th order bandpass some s*** like that you'll see how much deeper notes you get inside the cab
Lol man i trashed that box about 5 months ago best decision i ever made now i get twice as loud and way lower i will do a update video soon if i get the time!
@@OBSDually I knew that's what it was bro 😉
I like Taramps. Ever meter it, how many db's?
Get a mechman alternator, and i bet your spl would go up if you face the sub towards the back of the car.
Needs a way bigger amp...I would even try tuning it... your set up has potential...btw... your aux cable is no good... that's why your phone volume keeps going down...
I think it's a blown subwoofer or that box got air leaks all over the place
needs at least 5k power... the sub is beginning to move. :)
That amp does 3600 easy
James Blanco got it on 2 American bass xfl 1022s
Damn 3000 w fart like that😮😮 gon get em
There is not enough power to cause a fire, this NOT a multiple amp/battery high end, high current system, if anything, the sub will lock-up do to distortion/amp clipping..
I got to 15 in Rockford Fosgate T1 and I have yet to make a box because my car and my amp I have will probably only withstand one of those 15s and I'm going to get a custom box made for that car because that box it's double baffled and everything I see that but it just sounds like the Box you put it in has everything to do with the way it comes out SPL I'm talking about
Love it !!!!
Clean your install. Sounds like the amp is suffering because hcca required a lot of power run for what it can handle. Great video and system though 👍
U could push the sub harder I have 2 and push them at 24000 watts with 2 3600 power caps and 2 340 amp atlanter
Dylan Benton I will be doing a updated video of the system with new box soon make sure to stay and watch it once I make the video
Do you have big 3 any extra battery
Hey brother I got offered the Taramps 3000W rms for bout $200. I currently own a 2400 Watt Skar 12 inch subwoofers SDR loaded. Should I just buy a Skar 2000 Watt amp????!I currently own a 1500 Watt Skar amp. Thank you brother !!! Lmk ??
Get the Taramp Skar is great if you do get a Skar get at least a 3500.
What's the name of that song?
Is that a 1ohm or 2ohm taramp 3000 ?
Man, pull that BOSS sticker off your car. Or is it a joke? Kind-of like a sleeper audio system, making people think you're running BOSS crap when you actually have some nice stuff?? ;-D
Some boss stuff is good for what you pay for it I had their ar4000d and one of their 15 inch phantom series and it would rattle your teeth
Jason Staggs boss is a joke. Let’s be real here.
@@xxMaxMoneyxx Boss is kind of shitty, but it will get you by until you can afford the best, it's definitely equipment on a budget, not competition quality, that's for sure.
Maybe he put that boss sticker up as a front so kno1 would want to waste there time trying to steal his rule equipment there are a lot of thieves out there and that's kinda smart or maybe he had some boss stuff that didn't sound that bad (✌🏼💪🏼🔈💪🏼🔉💪🏼🔊)
@@frankrivera9083 If somebody wants to steal that heavy ass sub box, they better have some upper body strength/be a body builder, LOL!? They're going to catch hell carrying that shit after they disconnect all the wiring, LOL?!
U should go back to Walmart and get a can of spray paint lil homie!!!........hits hard for a single 15" and some stuff you piled together. ....I have that same amp as well. ...love it
Taramps FTW
TAR-AMPS where do you see TEAR?
I had that same problem with that shitty phone
Its good bro, its not flexing your vehicle that hard bc there's alot of space inside your vehicle
What app are you using
I once had wiring like yours and I drove my car in a ditch full of water, everything shorted out lol....wasnt the wires fault but my dumb ass driving.
Nice!
think the taramps 3k would push a skar zvx v2 15?
It should definatly push it!
@@OBSDually and jw if you no is the taramps hd 3000 better then the taramps md3000?
I dont really know about that.
If it sounds like crap inside not like crap but when you're like standing 20 feet away from the truck and it sounds really good if that's how you like it and then you get inside the truck and it sounds like s*** compared to how it does outside the truck make a different box that 6th order bandpass 4th order bandpass and you'll get those notes inside your truck
Sub starving for power
Hey bud..not sure if you've been told or if you have learned by now but u mentioned that u still weren't flexing a whole bunch ...welll in my opinion your sub if pretty underpowered ...the hd line is not meant for lower freq. Therefore you're not getting the rated power more like alil over 2k(as seen in big d wiz' s amp dyno vid..not to mention there is impedance or box rise which again means you're not getting what u think ..those subs handle 4-5k all day on music and id be willing to bet your not seeing half of that..i just got 2 hcca 15s in a trade and have the new taramps md8k (which is tested at 60hz at rated at 12.6 not 14.4) so moral is it needs more powah!
Nickel back
The reason it won't flex is because u have the wrong tuning for the box
Maybe it needs a tune the amp and better batteries
What is the song called he’s playing thank you people 🙏🏻
