I laughed when he started swerving to test the grip of the steering. lmao.
lol
AUDIRS41997
i'd want to punch him
Traction!
how much this car?
The Mustang in this video is priced at $25,765 USD. The base MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggester Retail Price) of the V6 Mustang is $22,510 USD.
you play your cards right and you can definitely milk the price, i got a very stock v6 for a little under 20k
***** That's awesome!
I got my V6 for 18100.
***** had to be a used or at lease a base model correct?
have had this car for about a year now, and every time that pedal hits the floor i smile like a little kid again.
I traded in a manual car for the automatic 2014 mustang. I love the car. Some people don't have the luxury of empty roads to fully enjoy a manual transmission. I live in the city and there is traffic every damn day I go to work along with a bunch of hills. Driving stick is fun but where I live it's a pain in the ass. So as a daily driver, I would choose the auto over manual in a heartbeat. Not to mention I can overtake any other manual mustang on the road lol.
305HP.. Actually
Jordan Chilton Thank you
The v6 is nimble. I almost rear ended a truck and pulled around it with a few only inches left.
wow!
So I was driving a 2004 v6 mustang (with mods) and I picked up my 2014 v6 mustang a month ago and my God the power difference is incredible
That was my old car haha a 2001 Mustang v6 automatic. That thing was SO slow haha.
Bought a 2003 GT Stick, and power difference was night and day. Raced my friends 14 V6 and he pulls on me by the time we hit 60 every time.
Going to miss that v8 sound but that new v6 sounds like a ton of fun to have.
Congrats on the new car btw!
Alejandro Gomez thanks! I'm pretty content with my v6's sound with the borla exhaust though it's definitely not the rumble that I wish I had with a v8. Future plans are to twin turbo mine and that's pretty much it. 400 hp is plenty enough for me but I can't afford a newer v8 unfortunately with insurance and monthly payment
I test drove the v8. Not a big enough difference for me want to pay $10,000 more. And i love my 30+mpg. V6 way to go. you can always do different things to it. i have new throttle body, air intake, and exaust. squeezed an extra 50hp almost out of it.
Yeah, the V6 was great!
i agree. i love the video. not enough people give the v6 enough props. love the suspension and handling too compared to past years.
AUDIRS41997 awesome awesome awesome video
DJ Randolph Thank you!!
DJ Randolph Thank you! Yeah, the V6 is a really good car! I was quite impressed with it!
I have a black 2014 Roush v6 mustang. Let me just put it this way. It's very, very fast. People have a hard time believing it's a v6.
I love mine. Even six years later, I still get compliments on it. I was surprised at how the engine sounds. Some of the people drive with me ask me if I have a V8. I'm so tempted to say yes but I'm too honest.
I love my V6!
My dad rented a mustang v6 for 4 weeks and it was fantastic!! It sounded lovely, looked lovely, and was very powerful. One day we were going 100-130 MPH and did a huge skid it was one hell of a car!
Wow, that's awesome!!
Congrats on the 200th subscription! (That's me! :)
That's awesome!! Thank you!!
I would like one in auto! I like manual but it's just eh I would stall it to much...
I agree. I absolutely love my 2012 mustang v6 mca edition with the performance package too. Plus that there was under 50 of my car with its options as well. Never know many years down the road..... Hello Barrett Jackson..... Im so kidding
That's awesome!
Yeah but with all those passengers it will pull slower than with just one driver
Drive it like u stole it.
Probably faster then an 87 Mustang 5.0, any comments?
What does S mode do on a mustang v6 2014 I know its for you to shift manually but does it make the car faster?
Kinda late but sports mode you don’t have to manually shift, it also makes the car’s brakes more sensitive, No idea if it makes it accelerate faster though.
This is how it is with most cars with a Sports mode
How do you use the Sports mode and the pedal shifters?
To put it in Sport Mode, you need to put the shifter all the way down to the icon that says "S". To shift from gear to gear, you press the small button on the left side of the shifter that has a "+" and a "-" symbol on it. When you activate the Sport Mode, it automatically lets you use the buttons on the shifter to shift gears. Unfortunatly the Mustang doesn't come with paddle shifters.
AUDIRS41997 my mustang is a 2014 and it comes with the S mode and I was wondering when do you shift into different gears and at what speed?
Lamont Wilson You shift just before your redline (RPM). Your redline on your car is 6850 rpm. The speed range that you get in a hard acceleration is: 1st gear is about 0-42 mph (0-67 km/h) / 2nd gear is about 43-74 mph (68-119 km/h) / 3rd gear is about 75-114 mph (120-183 km/h) / 4th gear is about 115-151 mph (184-243 km/h) and 5th gear is about 152 to your limiter which is about 155 mph (244-249 km/h). Your max speed that you shift at is: 1st gear is about 42 mph (67 km/h) / 2nd gear is about 74 mph (119 km/h) / 3rd gear is about 114 mph (183 km/h) / 4th gear is about 151 mph (243 km/h) and 5th gear is about 155 mph (249 km/h).
ThatTRDrolla I thought it was a 6 speed
The V6 sounds good but the 5.0 liter V8 is the bomb.
Lets see..... v8 mustang 20mpg v6 mustang 31 mpg mine gets 35 somehow and I smoke v8s with my automatic 2013 v6 premium using sport shift. Automatic rules on the dragstrip anyway..... that is all
3:24 How did that car not go sideways?
Traction control is on .
The sound inside the v6 mustang is a lot more lower pitched than the outside
V6 sounds good but that 2014 v8 is just banging
Definitely! I would've loved to be in the V8 Mustang!
I got a drive in the V8 and isn't much of a difference. It just feels more powerful
Here a V6 give a lot trouble to a 5.0
My 2013 mustang v6 looks identical to the 5.0 minus the v8 engine. Aside from the that it looks the same. I love my v6. I had the impression before i bought my v6 that it wad weak. And the v8 was the way to go. But i was way wrong! Way better on gas. Sounds amazing and way cheaper than the v8. I have lots of plans for my v6. Haha
That's awesome!!
The V6 isn't that bad, yeah you get better gas mileage (slightly) but for what...60$ more in car payments a month you can own a much superior faster V8. Honestly if you cant afford the V8's car payments you shouldn't be buying the V6 either.
I'm glad you like your car man. I personally bought an FRS just for the fun factor so power isn't all that important to me either, but it's hard justfiying buying a V6 over a V8 considering how close they are in price and the difference in performance.
I'm hoping to get a Camaro ZL1 one day personally. I would never buy a modern muscle pony car without the V8. There are sports cars out there much more fun than the V6 mustang if you're looking for a real good fun drivers car. Muscle cars are all about power and grit - that's why the V8 is always going to be the way to go.
XileLord naaaaw just got a v6 fuck the v8 waste of money not worth it v6 is fine were not nascar drivers so it will do thanks for your input though
Al Pacino bro honestly i bought mine as a v6 because it is much better on gas mileage i aberage about 20. And.on top of that the v6 was much more.affordable. i walked out with my v6 for 21000 the v8 would have cost me about 35000. Trust me i drove the v8 and felt the amazingness of it but my pockets couldnt afford it haha.
XileLord What kind of crack rock are you smoking that leads you to believe a V6 cost almost as much as the 5.0?.. it's no where near the same.. it's literally a $10,000 difference.. that's way fucking more than an extra $60 a month.. and on top of that you need to add the increased insurance cost, higher tax, higher cost of maintenance and increased fuel consumption. You're either dumb or naive.. I'd wager a bit of both.
I am 16 and this is the car I want. Looks nice and is affordable.
It is a great car!
Did you get the car?
@@dball prolly not, maybe stuck with college debts
Did you get the car?
Got a 2015 comp orange w PP w parents help. Modded it very tastefully but the fact that my parents paid for it made me uncomfortable so I paid them back. I sold the car and got a 636 motorcycle and then zx10s @@dball
Im into v8s but the v6 sounds really good
You should convince you're brother to upload this video to his channel!
He doesn't have this video. I was taking a video from my camera.
🤣
Yeah they are sick.
You guys should try driving a V8, those are really fun :)
I would love to! Unfortunately, at the car show we went to, they only allowed people to drive the V6.
***** That's awesome! Thank you!
Wow!! 30 likes and 11,000!! Congrats!!
Wow! I didn't expect that! Thank you!!
did you get a chance to drive?
Unfortunately not. I wasn't old enough. I had to be 18 years old and i'm not. :(
Your brother got lucky! :D awesome video
Thank you! Yeah he did get lucky! :D
It's nice
It's nice
Wait so is there a clutch? I want a mustang that has a manual but no clutch.
There is no clutch, it is an automatic with paddle shifters.
And paddle shifters is the stick right?Sorry if I sound new. Just started driving manual a month ago.
FairlyOD23 That's okay! Paddle shifters are not a stick shift. Paddle shifters (or also called automated manual, not to be confused with a manual) are mounted on the back of the steering wheel, all you do is pull the right paddle to shift up and the left one to shift down, nothing else is required for paddles (you don't need to use your feet). An Automatic transmission is when you put the shifter into a mode, like D (drive), R (reverse), nothing is required to shift after it is in Drive or any other mode, like reverse. A manual transmission (stick shift, also called a standard) is when you have gears that you need to change (this does require pushing in the clutch with your left foot and shifting by hand. (a stick shift is in the middle on the console), the car won't shift like an automatic, you have to shift it. Also, some cars have a tiptronic shifter which is in some automatic transmission vehicle. They have the same modes as an automatic, except you can push the shifter to the side, or click a button that allows you to click the shifter up or down to shift (no feet are required). I hope this helped. If you have other questions I would be happy to answer them.
OOOOOHHH. Have they come up with any that keeps the traditional manual but without clutch? I feel like that would be good for beginners of manual.
FairlyOD23 No they haven't. The closest is the tiptronic transmission, but you aren't shifting like a traditional manual.
I just bought a 2014 V6 Ford Mustang today and my god, does it feel good. Not too much power but not lacking.
whats wrong with it being auto?
Nothing. It's just the manuel would be more fun to drive.
Manual means fun and actually giving you the feeling you have some more controle over what the car does/will do.
Automatics are basically big 'go-kart' where you just put your foot on the gaspeddel and steer around a bit.
(So it's not about being 'good' or 'bad', it's more about the experience it's giving the driver.)
I prefer the mercedes s65 amg
There is a huge difference in price, and Mercedes is not nearly as good no more as it was in the old day.
......
Stock Exhaust?
Yeah it is!
Sounds great for a V6
Indeed!
great video guys!
Thank you!!
I want this car
It is a great car!
Oh ya it is! And how well this car is, it's only about $25,000, that's amazing!!
Alex Long Definitely!!
Alex Long I want it too. But the 2015 version interior has me over the fence
C'mon man auto?
We had no choice. They only allowed us to test drive the auto.
I don't always drive a mustang, but when I do I make sure its a manual
+spartacus Be original. Lol
I usually am but that's what came to mind at the time... A for effort though... right ?
