I love that they gave Momo a solo spoken part in her first Babymetal song recorded as an official member of Babymetal (the other one was officially a Lil' Uzi Vert song)!
Momo growled after her spoken part live apparentlyyy (i think it was pre-recorded but still her voice)
this song is what I want from babmetal!! people say that babymetal is too old but this song will be hype in the internet.
Too old! Not sure if any of them are over 20. Never been the biggest fan but I know they were very young when they put out their first songs. This is a banger! If someone liked them before but doesn't like them now because they're "too old" then that person needs to be on a register.

I guess Tom would've been happier to make a real combined video with them, but since they were on tour at the time he made that solo it wasn't possible...apparently he got sent the song and he had to do a solo for it^^

Su's vocals is so awesome in this more powerful, aggressive.... I love the Japanese Kabuki theater feel of the song, with Momoko doing that narration bit in the middle....I'm all smiles.... Especially after that very confusing collab of Lil Uzi Vert.... Metali makes everything right in the Babymetal world.... Can't help headbanging all through this song.... Damn this is like a throwback to Metisune & finally a proper damn MV for a change!! This track is epic and seeing Momoko Kabuki style thrown then lead into Tom Morello solo was brilliant.
Yea they did have a collab with Lil Uzi Vert recently. So you are correct on that along with dropping a new album. This is a far better single though then we got with Lil Uzi Vert🤘🦊

Ohrion, you really should react to the rest of BABYMETAL's "The Other One" album. The songs you reacted to before the full album release, are tame compared to the rest of the album...even heavier than we expected! Start with "Mirror Mirror" (live performance if possible), you won't regret it! 🤘🦊🤘
It’s not unusually for BabyMetal to have heavy riffs. It’s also not unusual for them to have catchy hooks. BxMxC was a banger. Especially the Bruxelles 2020 live fan clip. Even some of their much older stuff was heavy.
I do hear a stronger focus on vocals in this one. Way more powerful. Hopefully they bounce back. I think after Yui leaving and Mikio’s death they haven’t been the same.

I witnessed the world premiere (live debut) on Aug.16. At the venue, this song followed after the Kami's instrumental. Oh My Buddha! 😍
I got hyped like an idiot in the simplicity of this song and Momoko's solo speaking part with Kabuki style in the middle gives an amazing accent in the repetitiveness. The repetitive わっしょい "Wasshoi" is a call or yell used in Japanese Matsuri (festival). It is a kind of phrase to intensify people's excitement and especially to encourage the power of guys who are carrying a heavy Mikoshi that is similar to a float in the festival.
Su's voice is amazing in this song.
