The next time you should probably allot your time studying foreign languages, especially Chinese dialects (especially Mandarin, Cantonese, Wu, Sichuanese, Fookien, Hakka), Korean, Arabic, Bahasa, Japanese.

Hi! I don’t have it anymore but you can make one. Just use google translate then paste them and print. Just think of the questions or phrases that you think you will be using often once you get there. Enjoy your trip man!!

I hope the impolite person’s behavior did not affect your travel experience. Welcome to China again! By the way, young people have a relatively high level of English education. I hope this can help you.

Many of them are migrant workers from the countryside understandably.
This is typical across developing Asia and the wider Global South, especially Africa and Latin America.
Not all citizens are well educated enough and well travelled enough to understand foreigners, be it a visitor or an expat

Haha, it's true that Chinese living in 1tier cities are not as enthusiastic and helpful as Filipinos, perhaps due to the pressure of life. Besides, winter is not a very good tourist season for China. Welcome back!

But the cities of northeast China and Xinjiang are pretty hot destinations for winter tourism
