Mardi Gras Indians: St. Joseph’s Night with the 9th Ward Hunters

I spent the first few hours of St. Joseph’s Night with Big Chief Romeo “Hollywood” and the 9th Ward Hunter gang. And yes, they came for Answers!!!
My favorite thing about the Big Chief is his singing. He will walk for 4 hours and sing the whole time. He’s the real deal.
As long as The Big Chief is here the culture will never die.
Pay attention to his suit, he pays homage to his Daddy Big Chief Rudy Red.
