I just installed one recently, did you find that it was super snug or touching the oil pan of the bike? The area I mean is where the 3 pipes go into 1 and the springs go basically aka the part you install at 11:00.
Hey there, So this bike is really on for 2 ups with my fiance. I really dont ride it as much. If you dont do a tune or flash, really it will just affect your spark plugs sooner but wont damage the bike. Just the exhaust doesnt lean the bike out as much as if you did an aftermarket filter as well. I'm not looking to get anymore performance out of it or get the AFR in line, just wanted some better sound while going out together.
He does at 12:55. Unless you're talking about the original one. In that case you gotta watch the other video to see the actual condition of it. Def needed this upgrade.

Sounds awsome man!! I'm looking at a mt 09 as my second bike. I hate how camera audio does not do these exhaust sounds the justice they deserve.
I even used a shotgun mic and it didn't pick up how deep it was ☹

It is super snug but you can get a little bit of clearance from the oil pan so it doesnt rattle. Not easy to do but doable.
Great video! Did you send your ECM to have it programmed for the new exhaust? I have a 2015 and am thinking of getting same exhaust.

True but also wanted the black muffler and didn’t want to have to polish it.
