Well this comment is late, but he's NOT DEAD man, he's actually been getting better with his health. I'm sure you know that by know, LOL... P.S. Sorry for any grammar mistakes, English isn't my first language. P. P. S. Or you ment such a sad loss for Formula 1, if that, then definetly, yea.
I think his first retirement had something to do with these changes(for the better). He might have won another championship or two, but i dont think he would have been as happy on a personal level.
Every single time i watch an interview with either Michael or Mick, I'm struck by how much Mick resembles his father. Not just in looks, but in expressions, gestures, how they carry themselves, how they speak. Truly interesting to watch.
Don't agree he was on another level. He drove in an era when the competition was poor, he had Damon Hill as his rival after Senna. He had Hakkinen for a couple of years and then Alonso but from 2000-2004 he had no competition
T T but there was no competion because he was zo great in developing the car, look to mercedes now they are so dominant because of wat schumacher en brawn did behind the scènes that was also the reason brawn wanted him drive for mercedes when he made his comeback
T T That’s pure bs. There was tough competition almost every year. He broke Senna in 1994 the three races before he unfortunately died in a (later) superior Newey Williams. In 2000 Hakkinen was tough to beat in a Newey McLaren. 2001 and 03 there were big names in the likes of Montoya and Räikkönen. Only 2002 and 04 he really had the best car on grid. It’s sad people like you say things like that while ignoring all these facts. Cheers!
To this day, I miss this man, tremendously. Thank you Corrina for your encouragement and support of him. He is and has blessed in many ways. It was a pleasure to have him share his passion with me and everyone.
Interview by Allard Kalff, great interview, nothing compared to this clown of Jack Plooij they currently have on Dutch tv commenting on F1. Schumi was my childhood hero, such a complete and passionate driver, big miss to F1, hope we can see him back one day
Jack’s co-reporter Olaf Mol would be better to do those 1 on 1 interviews, just more serious but he commentate on the practices, qualifying and race and think it’s better to have that then being overly funny whilst a high tension battle is going on.
It really shows in this interview how Michael Schumacher is really a true class gentleman. As a photojournalist myself when you interview people with really good heart. It is a very pleasurable to speak to the person and makes your work much easier. Michael du bist der besser. Keep fighting. We miss you .
In all Honesty it was mostly all Ross Brawn, Him and his technical team knew the ins and outs of the 2014 regulations wayyy ahead of the other teams due to his FIA connections/seniorship, he did the same with Ferrari early 2000s when Schumacher was raking in World Championships. as for Schumacher and Rosberg, they did what any other driver in their position would do,: drive the car. Did you know Rosberg would have been a 4 time world champion, maybe more if Lewis had not been signed :). Mercedes could have signed any average driver to be Rosberg's number two but Ross Brawn wanted another Schumacheresque/Maverick driver and he saw that in Lewis.
I am not sure you can give the man all the credits. When he left, it took another year before hybrid era started. Those are different cars. Respect for the guy what he meant for f1, but please let’s not excagerate
Imagine if Senna or Michael were here with us today… they would certainly have their teams, they could help their sons and host interviews, get questions asked about the way F1 is heading. It would be amazing… but sadly it’s all just a dream and we won’t ever be able to hear their voices again.
Every few months, I check the news to see if he's improved. And I'm glad I was alive during his time when he inspired so many people with his work ethic, teamwork approach and overall classy winning attitude.
Imagine if he had stayed. One more season and he'd have had a competitive car. One more, and he'd have been a part of the team that would go on to have the most dominant period in Formula 1. Crazy.
I miss him so much. Keep fighting Michael. Give us one of those race stints at pure qualifying pace to win through like you use to. Get well soon Michael.
Every time I see an interview with micheal I get a bit emotional, He was my childhood hero, miss him really. When max started in 2015 with his exceptional overtakes he is the current hero now, To bad we would not found out wat micheal thinks of max.But thank you micheal for the great memories👊still the best ever.
Every time i see something about Michael Schumacher i really would like to know how he is doing ... It's a bit annoying that they wont release more information about his condition. I kinda understand that they want their privacy, but they also have to understand that he is a celebrity and that fans do care about him. Oh well, i wish them good luck non the less and i hope Michael will one day be able to show more of himself again and that he will recover as well as possible.
XReflexian , I think it's not good with him otherwise the media let it know asap. In the time he was racing a lot of people didn't like him but it's a shame he is gone for us.
The last of the great ruthless drivers, vettel is similiar in nature on track , in that vettel is ruthless even to his team mates. Look at the recent chinese f1 gp how he cut raikonnen in the begining. I miss schumacher, after Ayrton , this guy was someone I loved to watch as a kid and f1 was michael schumacher. Heck, even my mum knew whi he was and she never watched an f1 race. F1 in the 90s was something else, the everyday bloke or lady with their families attended , blazing sirens etc . Now the map has changed altogether.
@@toivonencresto on what accounts? Prost is top tier but sucked in rain. Senna was the fastest qualifier, but sucked in traffic and overtaking backmarkers. Not to mention he needed to be on pole to win alot of the times. Schumi beats them in both. He is an all around package. Great in dry and in wet. He doesn't have Senna's speed in quali but its close and he makes it up in the race where he is better. He won from 16th place remember. More wins, more titles on what merit both of them beat him? Lets not forget he didn't go to top teams. He made the teams he was in top teams. Senna and Prost both jumped into fast cars.
2012 was his best year of the three. He had all the bad luck that he had not in his winning years at once but his pace in this year was very much on Nicos niveau. I am pretty sure if he had signed the contract in the summer of 2012 before Lewis wanted to leave McLaren just one more year he would be a race winner once again.
really sad them making plans for the following year and his final words 'lets keep it up' I imagine he was heart broken to lose his friend as he knew him.
i missed him so much in 2013 and onwards..f1 just isnt the same without him..i love him but like senna the best eventually have to go..he had his time...its all good
times changed for the best, but this was back in the 2012, nowadays formula one it's almost dead.. just thanks to Verstappen we had some fights but the old spirit of F1 it's gone since 2012
Such a brilliant mind, and so good to hear him talking so frankly and not int he guarded way he had to in post race talks. If the powers of The Holy Spirit could bring him back, I would give it a try, you just have to "believe", and find a way to get me over there.
Poor Micheal all that talent all that hard work all that money success and everything that comes with it you get injured in a very very slow speed skiing accident How unlucky can a guy get
Michael seemed like a really nice and down to earth guy in his final years, in every interview he looked calmed down and humble. Such a sad loss.
Well this comment is late, but he's NOT DEAD man, he's actually been getting better with his health. I'm sure you know that by know, LOL...

That happens when you get older.
The true mark of greatness is humility; which he certainly had.

In time he will be one of the greatest, I wonder if he'll succeed his father? Interesting times ahead 👌🏻
Genetics are very strong
This guy was on another level to anyone, pure amazing

Michaels answers in this interview demonstrate how intelligent he is a driver and as a person. It’s no wonder he had so much success in his career. 👏
Sorry?

He walks exactly like Conor McGregor
Steve Kioussis he Has that denzel walk

Such a class act. Damn I hope he pulls through.

Oooh Michael get well soon we miss you man...F1 days are not the same without you around there...Please give him back to us god!!!
.
Your right, about God, senna+ schmacher both had helmets on. To protect them, and freak things happen.
No other driver ever had that energy to jump 2ft in the air on centre podium. True fitness and precision in drive and celebrations.
Really genuine, down to earth person.. I hope this isn't going to be his last interview, and still hoping that he will recover one day.
I have lived in the time of greatness. Schumi you Legend!
He gave me and my brother a thumbs up when he went past us at Monza in 2012.
One of the all time greats.
the man who basically made mercedes what it is today
FanatecSystem Him and Ross Brawn both did incredible things behind the scenes ready for the turbo-hybrid era. Things they don't get enough credit for.
i know that for shure, another year driven was another championship...
FanatecSystem nonsens

I miss him everyday. Though he is still amongst us....So far away. What a legend.
he is the total package on and off the track, like noone else and he always had loyal people with him.
pure legend my childhood hero i hope i see him again get well micheal pls
Never saw anyone like him, and probally never will again. Hamilton, Vettel, were very good drivers, but Shumi was in a class of his own.
on the track a relentless winning mentality, off the track a gentle man. Very intelligent too. Life is more often than once not fair to the good.

Still my fave driver ever. I'm dead chuffed to have met him very briefly in 2002. Keep fighting Michael.
Love you, Michael. If anyone can come back, it's you.
Who is here in 2021? Especially seeing his kid Mick go wheel to wheel with max in hungary and fighting with everyone with all of his elbows out. ❤️
this is a great interview. I really like Michael as a person.
Great video. Michael thanks for the great show you given us all the years your a lovely guy and i wish you all the best in future
Michael was larger than life back in the day(which wasnt that long ago). Get better MS!
Miss you brother. Always in my thoughts.
My F1 hero.. I miss you Michael 😥
its hard to watch this these days...😳tomorrow is his birthday😖 KEEPFIGHTINGMICHAEL
I wish him and his family all the best...a vintage down to earth racer...F1 misses personalities like him...🤘
I miss him so much. My hero. Always strive for better. Within yourself and then put it out to change everything around you. Legend.
It’s sad to see this great person probably won’t ever talk to us again.
Amazing man, amazing interview
Between him , Senna and Alonso there's really so little in terms of talent it's not worth debating. All three were light years ahead of their rivals
Get well soon schumi...:(

We had a parachute as a race car hahaha
Get well soon michael. God bless you.
What made him great was; consistency. He was always on fire. No other driver was like that. I hope he can recover from his injuries.

Great F1 Pilot. A Hero for ever.

I think he is going very bad, to many and to big brain injuries, it´s so fu... sad...
MY HERO! The greatest driver of all time. Regardless where Lewis ends up! I really miss him.
Few things we didn't see coming in 2012: Michael not there anymore and Max now driving as a champ like him
Never a big fan of Schumi, but he is really missed from f1, i think with him f1 wouldnt go that path that it has right now
God bless Michael Schumacher!
great driver hope hes doing well great respect
I miss him. I'm a fin so Mika and Kimi are my biggest heroes but Michael is legend in his own class
we love m schumacher from Turkey
To this day I still can't believe it.

Michael knew the true potential of the Mercedes F1 car, that's why he raced with them in the beginning.
Parachute as a racing car, lol. That was a POS really, but He had the ability to overcome and still win a few races.
damn...I miss him so much and I didn't even know him in person...
Huge respect to him going to Ferrari, a team with alot of "retirement" results in the late 80`s early 90`s.
I'd trade an entire Formula 1 season to see this man healthy and well again.
Can you imagine if he was still around what F1 would be today?

Lets hope that we can hear it some day

Michael Schumacher 7X FIA Formula One World Driver Champion
Get well soon
Great last words. We zullen jou stem ook op een dag moeten missen wat een helden zijn jullie beiden!!
Great interview . He let Mike talk without the stupid leading questions you get now from reporters that think they are the stars 👍
LEGEND!!!! Awesome Man!!!
What a Champ ! love you Michael !
Can you imagine if he had stuck around to drive the car that Mercedes would go on to make? Such a shame.
That moment when interviewer thanked him for the last 20 years 🥲 As if he knew 🥺😭
really sad them making plans for the following year and his final words 'lets keep it up' I imagine he was heart broken to lose his friend as he knew him.
wow, Mick sounds just like his dad
I'm not crying . YOU'RE crying
i missed him so much in 2013 and onwards..f1 just isnt the same without him..i love him but like senna the best eventually have to go..he had his time...its all good
hes not ina coma anymore..but i think hes in a wheelchair.
Martin Kove Thanks!
Love you forever! Please get better!

who's watching this in 2021
Ik mis Michael heel erg ik hoop dat het goed gaat met hem 😢
God bless champ
Great driver, great champion.
Greatest. Love you Michael ❤️
Poor Micheal all that talent all that hard work all that money success and everything that comes with it you get injured in a very very slow speed skiing accident
How unlucky can a guy get
This is NOT the last Schumacher interview. He'll be back, I'm sure of it!
I wish but I'm not hopeful
the Top Gun of F1... always and forever...
I miss him
He was truly the greatest ever and I will never ever be only one better certainly not now anyway
every team he raced for was or became hugely successful.
Schumacher still the best racer i ever seen. Hope one day come back.
A true professional. The Man to beat..
Martin Why Are You making me sad like this? :(((
V10, Ferrari, and Schumacher------ the golden days of F1.
Yeah, and NO hybrid crap, either!
if only he'd stayed for one more year with the team, I'm sure he could've won at least three races given how competitive the 2013 car was.
