Umm... not exactly sure, but it definitely happens...I'm lucky to have a few dogs so as long as there is bear around they will usually find one eventually..
@ I don’t ever give my dogs the benefit of the doubt. If they trail out on it a fair distance and they don’t get jumped I’m going to assume they are going backwards unless I see a track to prove otherwise. Obviously, the colder the track and the colder nosed the dog is, the more likely you are to get a track going backwards. I have a friend that doesn’t get to hunt as much as I do so he likes me to run his dog for him. She’s a nice dog. Good speed, good nose, catch her own game etc. Had to quit hunting her though because if a track is on the cold side she’ll take it what ever direction she’s pointing when she hits it. In twenty five years of bear hunting I’ve owned dogs that will take a track backwards and I’ve owned dogs that never take a track backwards.
Love your videos
I sure appreciate it!
My merch finally arrived Little George here in Oklahoma. Thanks alot.
@@RandallHudson-f6v Good deal!👍
It seemed like some of the orders were taking forever to arrive at their destinations..
Thanks so much!
Great to see Danny make it to the tree . Most of the time he puts in a lot of road work and don’t get to go to the trees. 👏👏👏👏👍👍👍
Thank the good Lord for Danny!😁
Enjoyed this video. Appreciated the love of the hunt.
@@derricktriplett5566 thanks!
Great video. Definitely have to trust dogs. Little hotter nose dog helps figure out backwards faster. Thanks for sharing
I agree!

Thoughts vs science..

How often do you put down on a track and they don’t get it jumped ?
