It's great to see some green on the layout. As stated, it really transforms it. You are on the right track with applying the grass. The loose stuff is pretty normal. If after a few days you still find some loose material you can either apply more scenic glue or if it's excess, just blow it off. I highly suggest doing your roads before ground cover. Once those are done, you will have a better sense of scene and all of the scenery you do afterwards will accentuate the roads. Lastly, when you weather your next locomotive, please give us a step by step tutorial.

Man's got an army of Berkshires. All of them look fantastic!

One simply cannot accurately model the Nickel Plate with anything less than 6 Berks 😀

@@marslightmodeling1753 Don't forget the 25 Mikados with all their tenders swapped too! (even though a fifth of them went to either Mexico or the AC&Y)

That’s exactly how I glue down ground cover. It takes about 48 hours to fully dry though. Ground cover definitely transforms the layout though. Looking great

Good to know. I was getting a little concerned when I didn’t feel anything different this morning, but we’ll see how it plays out over the next day or so. Thanks!
