      That was not man made Sir. It's just nature made. They just renovated that place. Actually there is a little island too just near in passig islet. We local people call that a passig gamay and passig dako. It's means big Big Island and small island. Sorry for my English .

    I think the difference between Thailand and Philippines is that Philippines had a thousand island, so if you get bored to a certain island there's still thousand more island to explore with different cultures.

    I’m very surprise and happy that you are featuring Davao Del Sur. We don’t have luxuries hotels whatsoever unlike the other famous tourist spots in the Philippines. It’s a very local and simple place. It’s rarely visited or featured by vloggers and even by the national TV/media. I miss my hometown!

    Maybe a little part of the islet be made a mangrove forest, for tide protection and to minimize soil/sand erosion. When fully developed it wiil be a tourist attraction for the province that will help local economy.

    • @DrLawaytravels
      @DrLawaytravels  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it will help bring in visitors. I asked around that day when meeting people on islet and most were from sta cruz. It was during the week and no entrance fee day. So the locals all knew about it

    I heard about that place when I visited my old folks last Easter in Makilala. I didn't realise that it's actually very close to the main land of Santa Cruz. Is there any overnight facilities like rooms?

  • @luislacno7079
    @luislacno7079 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Where in stacruz is the takeoff? How much is the entrance and the cottages? Can we stay overnight?

    • @DrLawaytravels
      @DrLawaytravels  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bato Santa Cruz Barangay Hall, that is where you turn off from the HWY 25 PHP fee, I think the cottages were like 100 php for 3 hours, all day was 400 php, I don't think you can stay overnight, boats stop running at 4 pm
