The ending felt nice. It was neither sad nor happy. Like they still kind of love each other. Especially Jiahan still had feelings for him. Birdy too loves him but he doesn't seem that much about progressing with the relationship. It feels real. And I can relate so well with it because I'm kinda experiencing the same thing atm.
They are giving us what birdie and a-han deserves in the movie 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 I love their relationship so much, always so happy seeing men so comfortable with themselves they could be affectionate with other guys

Edward Chen!!! What an actor… Taiwan has such a fine cinema industry in all genres ….. But, the BL/ Gay, BGLT group carry a big load for the free world. Kudos to Korea😮 Thai, Japan…. Very interesting screenwriting, actors, directors. Far more important than is acknowledged.
I just recently saw this, June 2022, and it was good to see such camaraderie between them. I'm a bit on the fence about the movies ending though. I thought the older characters seemed distant but that's probably realistic.
I love their off scene chemistry. In the Behind the scenes, they shared that the Director asked them to live together to get use to each other since some of the scene were very…ummm…hot. Am referring to the bathroom scene. They had props in the place to use but didn’t use them during the actual scene…ima let you figure that out yourselves.
I honestly thought it was a good ending. It wasn’t sad or happy, it felt realistic, they left it opened ended for the audience.
