I remember this song my mom use to sing this when I was a kid she passed away couple weeks ago I miss her so much momma this one's for you praise Jesus
Few things better than these old Rambo’s songs! And I have ALWAYS loved how Dottie is ALWAYS playing a different guitar every time. Some of the most beautiful Gibson’s and Gretch guitars.
Brings back so many great memories. The first southern gospel music concert I went to was in 1969 to hear the Singing Rambos, Oak Ridge Boys and the Stamps Quartet ! Thanks for sharing this video
Most wont believe me but Dottie Rambo is my great aunt. I have never actually met her because when she got in that bus crash i was only 4 so i don't really remember that well but i do know that she was the best person you could ever meet. My grandpa is a pastor in Iowa and my whole family goes there, but he doesn't just preach but we sing as well, in fact most of the songs we sing is my aunts songs. The one that i sing with my sister and cousin every ounce in a while in Mamas Teaching Angles how to Sing.
Tatum Ann that's sweet. But Dottie lived YEARS ON after the bus wreck. Tho she was in unending pain... she continued touring for several more years... too bad you couldn't of caught up with her. She probably went on to be with Jesus about your age of 14 or 15 :( I met her and the Fam many times. MY family is a ministering Gospel group too. Bill Mann and the Gospel Messengers. Gods blessings.
Tatum Ann To look at me you'd never know it, but I grew up on their music! My Mom and Dad Were always playing "The Rambos" records!! I can say this, I'm sure you've heard the expression "II cut my teeth on that music? Well I did! My Mom still has the 33' record with all my little teeth on it! lol.😁 I KNOW ALL ABOUT"THE RAMBOS" From the time I was born, up until when I moved out. it was ALWAYS either "The Rambos" or Elvis!!!! Just hearing this takes me back to an awesome time in my life!!
One of my favorite gospel songs.. Remember from my childhood... Data David.. Keep listening to these songs, praying for you my friend, there is no feeling in this world like the Love of Jesus.
One of my grandma's favorite song. Remember telling her as our father came to take her home, that mansion was finally done. Couldn't hear this song for awhile, but now knowing where she is, puts a smile on my face. Thank you Jesus.
When we were young, newly married friends told us about there concert, we went and loved it , nev,er forgot, been a long time now, love the Rambos music, it’s amazing ❤️
This is one of my favorites of Dottie Rambo. I remember another great gospel group, The Stewards, who were from the Blue Ridge area of Virginia and they recorded this song back in the early seventies.
This had to be early 70' s. The song was so popular then. Nothing like good old Holy Ghost singing in an old time Pentecostal church. I'm so thankful for that old altar and that precious old pastor who preached ONLY the bible.
The beauty of the promise is that everyone who is in Jesus Christ gets a mansion built next to Jesus. Jesus does not discriminate. Washed in his blood.. Why is the blood of Jesus holy and capable of doing this washing? Jesus is God the Son!
I had a crush on Reba's voice as a young man..the only time I got to see them live,my seat was so far away I couldn't tell much about her. Buck introduced her and said "she's single and we're gonna keep her that way"..broke my heart. :( Not really..
"Build my mansion next door to Jesus." Who ever wrote this song does not know scripture. Jesus said, "In my Father's house ARE many MANSIONS, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to PREPARE (Not build) a place for you. ..."
Dottie has always brought the joy of the Lord into my life! Praise Jesus!!!

Tatum Ann endure until the end and you will see your precious Aunt Dottie in heaven. For precious in the sight of God is the death of his saints.

Only Jesus cant save this world with His Blood.th-cam.com/video/5jmwAjXUS18/w-d-xo.html
Interesting the vast difference between Dottie and Rebas voices.
What a heavy helping of Loretta Lynn
I had a crush on Reba's voice as a young man..the only time I got to see them live,my seat was so far away I couldn't tell much about her. Buck introduced her and said "she's single and we're gonna keep her that way"..broke my heart. :( Not really..
I wonder who played the piano. Does anyone know?
All are in God's choir now
NO!!! Reba and Dony are still making great music. Check out Rambo McGuire.com Thank God they are still with us!!! And daughter Destiny and son Israel!
Acts 2:38
Amen!!
When was this recorded and where and what year. She looked good with that hair of hers so long.
Modesty is hot.
Who gave this a thumbs down? Come on
One problem with this song is that there is to much bass. Other than that, a pretty good song.
the only reason im here is because my piano teacher is making me play this song help
Please Listen to Gene Watson's version of this song.....Thank you kindly
I just listened to Gene's version tonight. I absolutely love it. 💞
Is Dottie Rambo the mother of the other two?
ariadne2956 she was the mother of the young girl Reba and the wife to Buck Rambo
