This Evo was highly praised, for its excellent behavior, and immense performance. High praise, from the Tsuchiya himself.

That APR evolution immaculate condition I like the paint job vinyl layout and and the fact that that's a movie accurate car that is most likely properly tuned all round I will give it 10 out of 10 kudos brew

I think the funniest thing of Tokyo drift is how the actual drift king of Japan had so much trouble trying to look like a bad drifter in the mountain shots at the beginning of Sean learning to drift

Love hearing the two of them talking about how they got into JDM cars. Great stuff! I've been into JDM cars for as long as i can remember, but I've mostly owned volvos and small french shitboxes(I do recommend getting a Peugeot 206 hatch for anyone seeing the prices of civics on the rise. Really fun cars, very simple to work on and dirt cheap)

Leon chimed in on Jesse’s “prayer” to say “heavenly spirit” instead of “heavenly father” so it struck me that Leon had some deep held beliefs about spirituality. And with that the Tibet v China issue is a great conflict of freedom of spiritual belief, it seemed reasonable that Leon would know about the issue and side with the people of Tibet.

This brings back memories when I used to watch Hot Version's American Touge 2 (that was held in Willow Springs Raceway), this car appeared in that video. Yasuyuki Kazama (Keiichi Tsuchiya's disciple who's now a former D1 Grand Prix driver) drove this car during its time runs.
Tokyo drift got me into jdm and that’s all I love currently have my first car a Nissan sss pulsar (sr20de) wanting to achieve the goal of owning a 180sx that then made me fall in love with the d1gp and now I aspire to build a koguchi power styled 180sx definitely want to start making videos and become a content creator one day and show off my cars :)

I have an explanation for you guys who confused why this car was LHD and not RHD When this car was on set, it has dash with RHD setup and fake steering wheel, while the actual steering was coming from the left one. So back then, Lucas (Sean) was acting with those fake side while a stunt driver drifting and fully controlling the car
I was waiting for this I just bought the 1:18 Jada Toys Sean’s Evo a few weeks before he ended up buying this it’s crazy ! One of my most favorite cars only wish this one was Right Hand Drive!

Tokyo drift is my favorite movie of all. It hits on more of the reason WHY we love cars and what they can give us beyond point A to point B.
