I am a born & raised Californian. Some of my close friends have left the state due to the shift in the political climate. I did not want to leave but considered it several times. But after this sermon, I am more committed than ever to stay and to fight for this state. For the souls of the citizens of this state. Thank you North Coast.
Thank you Chris, again, again, and again! : - ) God, God, and God. I lost most, pretty much all, of my family, and most of my friends. Delivered from the bar scene (severed some ties), secular music, and whole bunch of other things, along with no longer serving self. I am in the process of starting all over again, finally back on the path with God directly, right on it facing the very center of the cross, instead of walking on the side of it and failing, playing with puzzle pieces that don't fit, and going nowhere. The last 5 or 6 weeks have been incredibly painful, but also, I am growing in Christ exponentially (and that speed I cannot emphasize enough, it's like an ultra-high-speed non-stop feeding and slapping me up the side of my head and heart), and you have been part of delivering the words and messages which I needed to hear. I am plugging into North Coast Church, getting the volunteering process started, and I hope to serve well and to see what God wants me to do with the Church, and with His life (what was mine) as a whole. For reference - You and I met very briefly at the back of The LIVE venue one day. I asked you if you were Chris, you sort of joked it off, then I said, "You are Chris." On your way up to speak you hit me in the shoulder and said, "Here it comes." That meant a lot to me too.

Great message again. Before we ask for blessings to rain upon us we should ask ourselves who/what reins in our world.
