  • Love this motor! Burned slightly longer than anticipated (cores likely weren’t perfectly centered). Guessing that’s where the extra altitude came from. Took a mere 15min to get it out of the tree.

    Battlepark?? Didn't know that launch was still held :O My late father confirmed (back when certifying was called that!) with an H220 silverstreak in a THOY Falcon (again, a clue as to when this happened!) at a battlepark launch. Probably early-mid 90's.

      @@carldagroundskeeper Yes, BattlePark is still around to be sure. I also flew at BattlePark in the early 90’s when launches were only Spring and Fall. Now we are at a different field and fly about 10 times from late October to early April. Details at www.battlepark.org

    Next scene after the launch gave me a good chuckle. Just shook her out or did you have to get a pole? I bring 200 feet of throw line and tree climbing gear to my launches after a particular incident 😂

      @@pathtouch1 used the lineman’s pole we have. Very familiar with this type of recovery.
