BettyBoo42 I concur! I don't know much about the Naxx lore, but what I do know actually terrifies me. If they ever put Naxx in a Warcraft movie, guuurl that's going to be scary!
@@ThePolishValsion drustvar fucking sucks, nothing creepy about some disney character looking witches and a dead tree guy dying again. And the friendly npcs suck too.
Not really. Karazhan had its share of atmospheric and scary places, a lot of Northrend did, especially the Citadel, the Bastion of Twilight and End Time, some places associated with the Mogu, especially some parts of the Throne of Thunder, some parts of the Dread Wastes kinda, Draenor... didn't have any, but then we have the Emerald Nightmare and Argus. New stuff can be good, too. Although I do admit that the Plaguelands, Scholomance, Stratholme and Naxxramas, really anything associated with the Cult of the Damned, has a kind of flair that's hard to match.
This is one of the many things that made the old Scourge one of the most evil organizations in the Warcraft lore. It wasn't enough for the Scourge to destroy nations and commit mass genocide. The Cult of the Damned performed sadistic experiments on their prisoners, causing them pain that would normally kill them, but dark magic kept them alive. Even in death they weren't released, but were either turned into mindless zombies or were used to fuel flesh monsters, such as Thaddius. Today only the Burning Legion shows this level of cruelty with their soul engines and fel- raised undead, such as Ravencrest and his army. The new Scourge led by Bolvar Fordragon and aided by the Knight's of the Ebon Blade seem contempt to raise fallen champions as horsemen and storm dragons as frost wyrms, which are used against the Legion. Doesn't seem that evil to me.
The Lich King's motives for now is to keep the Legion off his back. Kil'jaeden created the Lich King to weaken Azeroth and now the Lich King is on his hit list together with Velen and Illidan. The Scourge is Bolvar's weapon and the Ebon Blade is his ally. We're not sure if he has ulterior motives. Darion Mograine says the death knights hold no chains to the new Lich King. Arthas' ghost claims their will is not their own, but we're not sure if he is referring to Bolvar or if it's a fourth wall joke. For now, Bolvar's goal is to fight the Legion, but when the Legion is defeated anything can happen. Bolvar became the Lich King to keep the Scourge in check, but Ner'zhul could still claim dominion and use the Scourge for evil again. But I'd rather see the Azshara/ N'zoth expansion before returning to Northrend. It's about time the South Seas made it to the game.
I have to agree that the old Scourge did far more damage than Bolvar's, but we have to keep in mind that Bolvar is there to keep them from happening again. As Uther said, if left unchecked, the Scourge will destroy all of Azeroth. There is a possibility that Bolvar is using the Ebon Blade to fend off the Legion, while he prepares something evil. Perhaps creating new armies in Northrend? Arming Icecrown Citadel and Naxxramas? Perhaps. Perhaps not. For now he remains atop the Frozen Throne. Another point that I would like to make is the DK order hall campaign as a whole. 1) Making the New Horsemen 2) Raising the Storm Dragons 3) SPOILERS FOR 7.2 MOUNT : Leading the Red Dragonflight to extinction. It seems as if Bolvar is making ready for a return. I have to admit The Lich King storyline might be one of the best, but seriously, it's time to see Azshara and N'zoth as villians.
Once upon a time there was victor lichenstein who wanted to create life , so he butchered a happy family and combined their souls and body parts to be even more happy , but they werent so happy so he butchered family of dogs and combined them so that thaddius ( the creature he created) could be happy with a pet BUT he still wasnt happy so he created more abominations of his so that he could make a big family , and thats how thaddius , feugen stalagg and gluth were created. what did we learn? that you cant make a child happy because they always want something!
Lichtenstein is a real world country, castle, palace, city and a house(as in dynasty not architecture) most of which are somewhere in Austria. The house of Lichtenstein also owned several castles/palaces in Moravia(part of Czech Republic), also on a sidenote there is no record of any Victor in the main bloodline of House of Lichtenstein... Elizabeth Bathory (Hungarian/Slovak noblewoman), from a nearby area is the Guiness world record female mass murderer, from 16th century, with estimated number of victims being above 650 and said to have been bathing in the blood of young women among other things.(not sure why i brought this up...) I know you are refering to Kel'Thuzad btw.
I've always been a sucker for Vanilla Scourge, Undead, Old Lordaeron, etc. To me, it's WAY more creepy than any Demon/The Burning Legion.. Honestly, I hope in the Next Expansion, they do something more.. The whole concept of Strath or Scholo where innocent women and children are captured and killed/tortured really creeps me out.. but, I like it lol So Naxx is by far, my favorite Instance, next to AQ with the Old Gods
One day, a Booty Bay Warlock named Nemsy accidentally summoned a Beyonder named Pat'hezz the Forgotten while attempting to summon a Void Caller. During the Battle of Booty Bay, Pat'hezz was found by an adventurer and delivered to Booty Bay's captain, who affectionately named it 'Patches', trained in the arts of a Pirate's life, and sold it to Don Han'Cho in exchange for some Dopplegangsters to help him keep the Bloodsail Buccaneers at bay. Noting Patches' swashbuckling prowess, Han and Cho decided to make Patches in charge of raids and attacks on rival gangs such as the Kabal and other minor Gadgetzan mafia forces.
Naxx was my first raid in wow since I started in wrath and this...this is the best first raid I could have ever done. I love how creepy it feels like and the first time I heard those screams I was soo creeped out.
The HS card that I want to see a video of is Confessor Paletress, the Priest legendary, I've always thought that it was really cool getting a random legendary for only 2 mana 😂
Nobbel, while this may be out of season, how about Graccu? He had a card in the TCG, but I've not seen much info on him other than his Mincemeat Fruit Cake or Meat Pie during Winter Veil.
You did not mention Feugen & Stalagg wtf? There is quite some lore about the two characters. Why did you not mention about how Feugen needs to feed Gluth? And how it is quite obvious that Stalagg bullies Feugen and is most likely why Feugen feeds instead. Also based on the lines they say you can honestly see that Stalagg is the more loved one to their master compared to Feugen. While Feugen based on his dialogue only wishes to please his master and make him happy. You can even go on to theory on the similarities they share to festergut and rotface. And how based on the similarities and the fact that they both take care of a dog that Professor Putricide most likely made Thaddius, Feugen, and Stalagg. Based on the new legion lore the professor made many projects using dead innocents. He even favors festergut over rotface which again shows even more comparisons.
You got that backwards there, with Festergut and Rotface. Quoting the mad Prof. Putricide: *"Oh, Festergut, you were always my favorite... next to Rotface. The good news is that you left behind so much gas. I can practically taste it!"* Also, both Festergut and Rotface had dogs. But while Festergut's is called 'Stinky', Rotface's was 'Precious', who also had the ribbon (that you could wear as a shirt if it dropped) that declared "Best in show!"
nobbel can you make video explaining all elves factions and how did they evolve and turned to trolls , thank you for you videos i always enjoy watching them
hello Nobble. Wierd question. so if agyween raised suramar out of the water, put sargares avatar and all his stuff in there. then sunk it again. later guldan raised the tomb again to find the eye. now if all this happened how did the shaldorei (elves of suramar) live their. cause during the cinimatics in legion they say the shaldorei put up the shield during the war of the ancients but then never talk about sinking to the bottom of the ocean or anything once the rest of the night elf kingdom fell... please let me know as you are a great lore teller and i read as much as i can but this still bothers me. thank you and keep making videos
Hey Nobbel, is it possible that the AshBringer was created from a piece of T'uure. Hear me out, the ashbringer was created from a crystal that was oringinally dark. When the priests tried to destroy it, the crystal absorbed the light, as does the staff made from T'uure while the player is fighting Lady Calindras. Could it be that a smaller piece of T'uure was also corrupted. This is just a thought, let me know what you think of it.
That's just a Naaru quality in general. I don't know, if it has been confirmed, but it has been speculated for long, that the crystal is a piece of a Naaru or atleast closely related to them. It could both be K'ure, K'ara or just any old Naaru the orcs got their hands on.
How about Kaligos from the Ungoro expansion, anything on him? my guess would be elite mob or optional boss of some kind if there even is anything for him.
Hey Nobbel I don't think the voice says "stop screaming". It's actually " So much pain!" To prove this, in the German version the voice says so much pain in German
I do give him major props for learning English on his own, but it does bother me all the time in his videos. We have to remember that we may all trigger Nobbel if we were incorrectly pronouncing his native tongue, but the trilling R's man......those trigger me most.....I apologize if I offend you Nobbel. Please feel free to say a stupid American joke on my behalf as I feel it is only fair after my complaining. In all seriousness though @Nobbel87 , great video as always. I truly enjoy all the lore videos that you make, and will always stay subscribed and supportive of your work! Thanks man!
The fucking screams are one of the most terrifying things in the game.
up there with C'thun and the Corrupted Ashbringer's whispers.
Naxx was and still is my favorite part of WoW for that very reason. It has that very creepy ambiance to it and the backstory is utterly horrifying
This is Caboose They are very haunting.
BettyBoo42 I concur! I don't know much about the Naxx lore, but what I do know actually terrifies me. If they ever put Naxx in a Warcraft movie, guuurl that's going to be scary!

Prince Stormstrider I'm just waiting for the Ebon Blade to be retaken completely by the Lich King or something. He has to have ulterior motives.
The Lich King's motives for now is to keep the Legion off his back. Kil'jaeden created the Lich King to weaken Azeroth and now the Lich King is on his hit list together with Velen and Illidan. It's no wonder the Forsaken are super pissed off all the time.
The mogu match that evil in the lore, but they're dampened too much by being cartoonish evil Disney villain type overlords at the same time.
And this is why Naxx is the most disturbing/ most fun raid tbh.
Once upon a time there was victor lichenstein who wanted to create life , so he butchered a happy family and combined their souls and body parts to be even more happy , but they werent so happy so he butchered family of dogs and combined them so that thaddius ( the creature he created) could be happy with a pet BUT he still wasnt happy so he created more abominations of his so that he could make a big family , and thats how thaddius , feugen stalagg and gluth were created.

how close was i?
As close as I would have been

Why would you want to make someone happy?
thats a good question , ask lichenstein
Oh yes, jumping the platform, hardest part of the encounter.
I like to imagine that the corpses used to piece together Thaddius, came from Stratholme.
And maybe from Lordaeron too.
I've always been a sucker for Vanilla Scourge, Undead, Old Lordaeron, etc. To me, it's WAY more creepy than any Demon/The Burning Legion.. Thaddius and these parts of Naxx is one of the most creepy and unsettling things in WoW
Thanks for the info on this! I raided Naxx back in the day and never (bothered to) put all the pieces together. Really cool stuff as usual!
Story of Patches the Pirate, let's see what there is about that big boy.
I don't think there is any...............
Then lets make up our own lore.
Hmm, i wonder what his backstory should be?
BoomDowg he was a cancer tumour who gained sentience. Truly answers all questions... he is cancerous after all.
Rule #1 of Naxx Raiding:
You clear construct quarter first. _Always_
Rule #2 of Naxx Raiding:
You do not, I repeat, _YOU DO NOT_ touch the cat.
I always kill the cat. No matter how many times they kick me.
im kinda interesting about one guy from warcraft Lord alexi barov
The Story of Thaddius, Feugen & Stalagg [Hearthstone Lore] but every time he says Taddius instead of Thaddius it gets louder.
Twilight Drake. Me want lore on the twilight flight.
It was just today I was thinking if you've made a video on this guy or not, pretty mad
what? i didnt know that Naxxramas was once underground in Azjol'nerub? thats so cool
Thaddius' concept art looks way more badass than his game model (which the Hearthstone art is based off of).
Tank you for tat toughtful tale of Taddius.

Sorry if i am not informed, but did he say something about the giveaway of chronicles?
Look at Nobble going full Preach on the Raid mechanics

Nobbel, while this may be out of season, how about Graccu? He had a card in the TCG, but I've not seen much info on him other than his Mincemeat Fruit Cake or Meat Pie during Winter Veil.

Can you talk about Grull the Dragonkiller.
He was a fun boss in BC
this is why the scourge is so evil, every abomination u fight was chainsaw massacred together from 10 or so people, it's a horrifying fate.
