Hey buddy , no I did not do an oil analysis. My car had factory bearings in so I just wanted to get them changed. If you buy a car with the bearings changed already then that may be an idea! Have a look at my buyers guide video I talk about what you need to look out for ☺️ George
Genuinely surprised how badly scored your bearings were for such a low milage example, must have had an overly enthusiastic early miles owner I reckon 😬.
You should use plasti gage on the exact middle of the shell (cap position), not on the side because the clearance are different.
Great channel FLOORit. Really professional. Love the e92
Max Cotton Motorsport thanks mate! Checked out your stuff as well! Good drifting 👌🏻👌🏻
Great video
Any reason for ACL over BMW bearings
Thanks! ACL are updated performance bearings VS the standard copper bmw ones
Great video 👍🏻
Brad Cornish thanks mate 😄👌🏻
If you warm up car properly before revving and change oil in time -do u need to change acl bearing in 100k again?
Great video, and detail. Do you mind what sort of cost for the labour and bearings ? Roughly 1500 quid?
Thanks buddy! Yeah it was £1500 approx at Redish. Engine mounts etc are about £80 on top if needed etc (normally recommended) cheers George 😁
@@FLOORitofficial perfect cheers man , keep up the m3 content 👍
Did you do oil test before you decided to change rods ?
