I wonder if NF has ever been through something traumatic like this. When I was 19, I went through something similar working at a convenience store. This video hit me with a full fledged PTSD attack and sucked me into the past. (not your fault...it happens still). But the way NF describes every detail leading up to the attack...you seriously remember every little thing when you look back. It's just a normal day till it isn't. He was a normal man till he wasn't. He was only just paroled 3 years ago. He received 42 years from a jury for what he did to me but only served 34 because the parole board in Texas said it was better to release him early and set him up with a job and house to integrate him into society. I'm still on disability from the attack and had to leave the state because I didn't feel safe. But anyway...NF conveys the fear and how fast everything goes and the indecision on what to do so well. I'd love to know what his inspiration was.
