    If Tennessee wins more than six games over the next season and a half, it's an improvement. I like Vrabel, but he took over a playoff team and as talent left or diminished he didn't do a good job developing people to replace it.

      @@jacobray8685 It's not the GM's job to develop players. It is the coach and his staff's job. J-Rob made a lot of moves and draft picks that backfired his last couple of years but Vrabel hasn't shown any sign that he can develop players either. With a 2md year QB and a rebuilding roster I honestly don't trust him to do so. Henry carried that team during their runs and now that he's gone I don't trust Vrabel to know what to do with the offense. Ran will find the right guy. Thank you Vrabel for your time but the change was needed.

      Yeah, but he inherited a playoff team already. And for the first three years, he had good coordinators who went on to be HC on other teams. In my opinion, his downfall was in hiring low level experienced coordinators and sticking with them too long. Two years with Todd Downing, ended up keeping him even after his DUI, then we had to watch the Tim Kelly fiasco. I am willing to bet that Amy gave Vrabel the option of staying, but with new coordinators. JRobs boneheaded moves aside, Vrabel didn’t do enough with the playoff team he inherited. You can’t blame JRob for the entirety of his tenure. He had some good hits in the beginning, but had a lot of misses towards the end, including AJ Brown, but I also think it also had to do with Vrabel’s offensive philosophy. He wanted to run the whole offense through Dereck Henry, be conservative in the passing game, and be a time manager. That philosophy is old and a fleeting one in the modern NFL. I don’t believe it was just JRob, because at one time he had the players and the personnel and still couldn’t get it done. Some won’t like this, but that’s how I see it. AAS did the right thing, and if she didn’t do anything and let Mike Vrabel stay many fans would still not be happy with her. They still say, She doesn’t care. I think she does and wants to have a winning football team when the new stadium is completed. Though we may not be happy with the way she did it, at the end of the day, she is the owner and has the power to make these decisions. Every male owner in the NFL has to make decisions like that when their organization is not winning.

      We were relevant because of a strong defense under Dean Pees/Jim Schwartz and Henry carrying this team for years. Vrable and the old GM did a terrible job of figuring out how to extend the life of their championship window. Vrable was always involved so he has a huge say in our past two seasons.

      By saying that you are saying that Robert Kraft knew Titans wanted a trade. Wonder how he knew that? Vrabel showed his hand by tipping off Robert Kraft about a trade. While I don’t have a source, it’s not too hard to connect the dots. By waiting for a lengthy trade process, Titans would miss out on top HC candidates. I was originally for a trade, but Vrabel wasn’t going to cooperate with that. Why? Because he’s not going to jeopardize the next teams draft capital.

      @stephenlewis9947 the trade rumor originated from NE media.
      Im saying it was a psyop to stir up shit and it worked.
      The rumor was never meant to actually force a trade. It got the low IQ fan base riled up which spooked ownership.
      Vrabel wanted to stay he didnt have anything to do with the BS media story.

      The trade rumor originated in NE.
      It was a psyop designed to stir up BS and create uncertainty and it worked.
      It riled up the low IQ fan base and spooked ownership into making this idiotic decision.
      The rumor was not intended to actually instigate a trade.
      Vrabel didnt want to leave, he had nothing to do with the rumor getting started.

    • @jaredgibson7462
      @jaredgibson7462 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The rumor was the carrot on the stick that ownership/stupid fans chased. By chasing the carrot, the relationship between ownership and Vrabel soured.
