This is a great tutorial and a beautiful hat. What is the oz weight of the denim used in the beginning and which needle size and stitch length/width do you recommend using?

Hi there! The main body of the hat is 10.5oz or 350 gsm and we used a denim shirting for the bias tape. We used a denim/ jeans needle as well. Hope this helps!

How much fabric does the unlined hat take and how much bias tape did you use? Thanks

I am trying to get the pattern without luck. I have gone to your website to sign up for access and am not getting an email back to finish setup. I have checked my junk mail as well. Would really like access to make your beautiful sun hat.

Such a fun idea, if only it worked. I tried multiple times and the pieces just are so far off. Pleeaaaase fix this pattern! Would love to make these adorable hats!!

Hi there! What issue are you having with the pattern? I took a look and everything looks okay on our end.

I was able to trim the tops of the hat enough to fit that part that goes around the head but then the rim was just so much bigger than the around the head piece and couldn’t be reconciled. At that point they were way too small on mine and my daughter’s heads anyhow. The sizes of pieces just seems off.
