Love the “Press it into submission”😂 the iron is our best friend. Nice tutorial, Monseratt!

Thanks to Monse for this very helpful binding tutorial. Lots of great tips which I plan on trying esp the wider neck binding with two rows of stitching.

Update to my earlier post: I removed the pre-made binding on two of my sleeveless tank tops and following Monse’s tutorial, I reattached new arm and neck bindings using her recommended seam allowances. Very happy with the end results. My lower arm seam is lower and the overall arm opening just feels more relaxed. On my next tshirt I will try the 3 1/4 inch neck binding. Thanks

Great tutorial! Pace was good, explanations excellent! And I, too, never thought about accommodating for zig zag on seam allowance.

Fantastic tutorial .. So many little gems of expertise. Feeling much more confident to tackle knits (I have an alabaster cut out but I have been too nervous about the knit neck line - my absolute kryptonite in sewing!)

An excellent video. Never thought of accommodating for the zigzag. Also love the 1” binding. Thank you

I always end up with gnarly unevenness when removing the excess. I’ll try your way next time. Thanks!

Thank you for the video! I have never thought to account for the width of the zigzag when placing it on the stitch plate. What kind of presser foot are you using?

My biggest complaint about sleeveless shirts are the ginormous armholes. Even patterns have huge armholes for the sleeveless shirts, so I'm always make alterations to the patterns. I have a big middle but the diameter of my arms are smaller.

I would say these are on the smaller side but if you do use the pattern, you can measure the pattern pieces at the armscye and compare it to a top you own and like the fit of.

Yikes! Twin needles are intimidating for a first time. Thanks for the extra tips.

Definitely a learning curve but they are great!
