Tim Legler is one of the few media members that doesn’t have an agenda. I’ve been enjoying his analysis for years. He’s a slept on talent for ESPN. With that being said, when he said Mavs before the playoffs started, he saw how they matched up against potential opponents and knew they possibly could. One aspect of Dallas no one is talking about is coaching which has been damn near flawless.

Legler is simply the best basketball analyst out there bar none. He's no homer and he has absolutely no bias. He simply does his research uses logic and his deep understanding of the game to form a fact based and objective analysis of the team, players and the game. He's honest and humble and doesn't seek any fan fare. He just calls it like it is. Anybody out there that claims otherwise is either an ignorant fool, a hater or both. All these embarrassing mainstream media idiots are just actors playing their scripted roles that are comprised of nothing but subjective, extremely biased opinions and inflammatory rhetoric to draw the sheep in. They have their minds made up for them. That's why I never watch them and would never, ever rely on their take on anything. Well done on this podcast! You mentioned the epicenter on both Kyrie and Luka's games: the inability to speed them up throughout a game ... Kyrie has simplified his dribble and relied more on his physicality ; the infighting with his off hand is martial arts level, and (if I am not mistaken) he is one of six players to average 50/40/90 in the course of a NBA season since that stat was introduced ... Luka has been a pro since he was 16(?) and is HUGE at 6'8", 245 with Bird-like court awareness from the POINT (!) ... I have seen a next-level evolution in the Association

It had lot of 2 way players with high BB IQ & bigs that NN could use in big line up or play small ball. FVV was a sniper from 3 & gave Bucjs nightmares, Gasol was crucial in defending Embiid & Ibaka could stretch the floor while being an excellent shot blocker, Pascal energizer who came alive in the Finals& Kyle the leader on ; off the court tough as nails and Kawhi did his thing. NN with his crazy defensive schemes and in game adjudtments as a rookie HC. It was a team not just 1 person that contributed to the chip.

Please. Edwards has had 2 atrocious games and 1 “pretty good” one (in which he also vanished when it mattered). So far from a superstar that its laughable. He’s either the man or he’s not, but people have to act accordingly either way. I’m so tired of seeing Towns and Gobert take the blame when their “superstar “ has been non existent.

Legs has CELTICs from the JUMP and after Mavs trade has them going to the Finals. This is going to be a great story line #NBA Finals! Mavs offensive backcourt beating up Twolves however, #Celtics has two bats for every ball they will throw up unlike Mike & Anthony in Derrick & Jrue! While having 2 of the top #10 basketball players because #NBA basketball is not an offense or defense only sport! Its going to be great! For outside the Allstar duos I want to see who for the other of the teams step up the most!

Kyrie is naturally left handed, he's more creative with that hand.
Kyrie is the perfect pairing for Luka, he's the only one skilled enough to justify taking the ball out of Luka's hands and still get elite offense. Talent respects talent.

TIM in other words the opponents best defense on luka is luka allowing you to think u playing defense for him to make his best passes to totally take the entire opponent players out the play you just have to say $h!t or damn. either side lol lol. so that explains the term you cant guard me, because I allow your eery foot step or hand reach.

3-0 comeback is gonna happen eventually. It’s happened in all the other major sports. It almost happened in last year’s ECF. Wolves conceivably could have won all three games so far, so why can’t we win the next three? (All due respect to Dallas, they obviously made the winning plays, but it’s not like they’re winning convincingly). I believe we can do it. Why not us?!

@@Hhuuvvfyjyeah 4 straight is pretty insurmountable.. Dallas is too hungry to let that happen. Boston did not have that dog in them last year, EVEN THOUGH they had so much talent! But still could not best Miami.. Timberwolves do not have that dog in them PLUS not as talented as Boston was last year who went against the play in team

Luka Doncic is NOT better than Nikola Jokic.
Reasons why Jokic is better than Luka
    1) Jokic is a better scorer efficiency wise against better playoff defenses
    2) A better shooter most of the time (though he shot badly from 3 this postseason)
    3) A better rebounder
    4) Better playmaker (Luka is more artful passer but Jokic's is better at involving teammates, being unpredictable, allowing others to get in rhythm)
    5) Less turnover prone
    6) Better post player (Luka is the best perimeter post player but not the best overall)
7)Better leader (how he behaves with refs, his ability to always be in shape and sacrifice usage for team involvement)
    8) Better floor raiser/ carrying bad teams (Luka missed the playoffs in his prime while Jokic always carries injured rosters high in the standings)
    9) better off ball player
    10) easier to play with/ less fit issues
Luka is a better ball handler and volume scorer for sure.
I think that people forget that jokic has had worse help in his prime (2021-2024) than Luka did. Luka had Porzingis, Jalen Brunson, Kyrie Irving.
Jokic had Murray who has been injured 3 of the last four seasons.
    This postseason Luka averages
    28ppg /9.5 reb /9 ast / 2 stocks/ 4 Tov (43%/33%/80% shooting splits)
    Jokic last year averaged
    30ppg/13.5 reb/ 9.5 ast/ 2 stocks/ 3.5 tov
    (54%/45%/80% shooting splits)
There are levels to this .....
