For the mare who abused her, instead of loving her. Although if Ink Dye is based off a real person, she is really a terrible gal.
I know, right? When it turned out not to be Curse and the scene started to go bad (Mag is an amazing VA, BTW) I thought 'Oh, it's _her_, isn't it?' And then I thought 'Maybe I can kind of understand why she would go so low as to hurt her son after this.'
I had to come back an hour after my last comment and add this when it occurred to me! If her abusive ex is named Ink Dye and one of her worst memories involves a quill set, that adds another layer to her use of the ink metaphor in the previous installment; you know, with the ink stain as the thing that pollutes their relationship.
wow... this story really does go from terrifying to heartbroken so quickly but wow... it's such a good story, I love your work so much! And I always will
the implications in the story is fascinating to me. In a way, it's for the most part, not a sequel at all, unlike A Beloveds Curse; but more as a prequel, set within the period of time that Magpie and Curse Word were together. it makes me fascinated to see what's next for the story, as I can see clever seeds that I wouldn't be surprised to see you touching, as I also love just how this all connects together with ample ease.
Been following the story since the beginning I've been hooked since the start and I plan to stay until the end of this incredible and honestly intriguing story line until the bitter end

Ink dye's voice/lines are Mags lines from the conversation just backwards, distorted and played in the opposite order, meaning Mags last line would be Ink's backwards, I deciphered it and hoped I would find something like a hidden message
TheLostNarrator I spent about 5 minutes on it I couldn't really understand it even when I reversed it, the distortion made it hard for me to hear at first

When I saw the credits in the description, I first thought 'Gutiuserenade is voicing the Lost Narrator? What the fuck is this?' Incredibly awkward opening monologue, then the story picks up immensely when the distorted voice comes up. Mag wakes up crying after sleeping turbulently. Curse: Was it another nightmare? Curse Word, Mistress of Observation. "Crimson red eyes" as opposed to crimson blue eyes, right? Curse Word approaches a town at night. Townsponies: WHAT A HORRIBLE NIGHT TO HAVE A CURSE. Nice work overall.
Visiden If you think about it, Lost and Guti are really almost the exact same aside from gender. Both like M-rated humor, both love to read creepy pastas, both play video games, and even their color schemes are similar. My personal theory is that Lost and Guti are long-lost siblings. So Guti voicing Lost would make sense. Especially if someone wrote a fic about Mag turning Lost into a dude to try for a baby. I'm going to hell.
I hope they can reunite soon, I loved this story, great job on the reading as well, happy hearts and hooves day Lost and Magpie, hope you spend it together forever
