Yes, that is what a lot of them think. I also get the impression that when they see a few thousand dollars in a bank account, they think it's some incredible amount of extreme wealth. It doesn't seem to occur to them that someone could be paying thousands just to keep a roof over their head. I've heard them say things like "you have so much money, you don't need all that money" when talking about a bank account with like 5 grand in it. And yeah, while that IS a lot of money, it's definitely not _"i-can-easily-afford-to-lose-or-give-away-thousands"_ type of money. It also never seems to occur to them that it's not actually their money in the first place and that no matter HOW much someone has, they're not entitled to a dime of it.

I have watched Kitboga for years and I think Charlie gets the award for the stupidest scammer. He can’t keep his story straight, he answers “yes” to any random thing Kit says and he just can’t stop running his mouth. Hilarious and frustrating at the same time.
So let me get this straight, they have a very advanced ‘robot’ that can do the transfer for them, but it takes over two hours to complete. While two employees need to be handling the call, and the customer can’t use her laptop! When I am capable of making a bank transfer within maximum one minute! Even more weird, the fact that this advanced robot makes a mistake and it can’t be fixed by wiring the money back to them! The insanity of it all is hard to believe, and it makes me wonder who falls for this. I understand that if it is all done quickly and smoothly people with dementia might fall for this. But no person with normal cognitive functions can fall for this nonsense.

I actually got one caller yelling "No no no no, don't do that!" at me while I pretended to follow his instructions and then oops, well I better get the police on the line since my computer is being illegally hacked! Thank you so much for bringing that to my attention helpful security specialist who totally actually works for Microsoft...
