Just bought the Gemini II’s Ron and on day 1 I’m super impressed. My buds of choice (until today) were AirPod pro 2’s but the Devialet are in a different league in terms of sound quality. The ANC also seems to be a lot more effective than I had hoped and finally, they are LOUD! I’m listening at about 50% volume and that’s the equivalent of 75-80% with the AirPod pro’s. As I said it’s only day one but, so far, very impressed!
How about the bass quality ? are they better than the Airpods ? as i noticed the Airpods lacks the quality in a lot of songs the more i use them the more i notice.

The IPX4 rating and cheap design are a deal breaker for me with the Devialet. Given that, I'm definitely not paying a premium over earphones in the EX that are already priced at a premium.
I'm not impressed with the ANC as well as natural volume of the EX. Despite that, they have great sound. I agree, the PerL Pros are much better than the EX.
Love both of these. Besides sound the NC is very important to me. The B&O just don’t cut it on NC. For the money I just don’t reach for the B&O like should have to.
I've tested Tidal vs Deezer for example and found Tidal's sound to be really low volume in comparison, you should try Deezer or Standard MP3 files, they do sound better to me!
Hi Ron do you have connection issues with yours?I do with mine I reached out devialet the customer service was abysmal not once, did they offer a replacement they basically told me to go back to the store I bought them from and they’ve got their own returns policy. I guess if you’re not a well known TH-camr, they couldn’t give a shit..👌
Another great video. A few suggestions for the next one.... perhaps skip that wipe transition that was used between the outdoor ANC test segments. Also, I think I prefer the audio commentary segments to not have any music playing while you listen. The royalty-free music playing while you listen to and comment on the test songs is a tad distracting to hear something other than what you are listening to. And one last small suggestion - I know it gets confusing testing dozens of different buds and keeping the names straight while filming. Perhaps put up a sheet of paper with the names for this comparison in large print visible to you but not visible to the camera so you can always refer to the names without even having to think.
Ron, I want to suggest that you practice your script before you record your final video. As it stands right now it is VERY difficult to watch and listen to you. Your friend

I am having a hard time picking between the two, what makes BeoEx better for working out? Edit went with the EX best buy didn't have a warranty for the geminis. I get the two year warranty in case they break or a newer one comes out I can return them and use the credit After having the bang EX for a few days I am dissapointed. Sound leaks out anyone around you knows what you're listening too. The ANC doesn't work at all. I can not tell a difference with it on or off. They shouldn't include it as a feature it doesn't have ANC in my opinion it is that bad. Also the sound itself doesn't get loud enough feel like I got it at 70-80% when it is at 100%. Had the bose quiet comfort before. Those are better than these and 100$ cheaper.
I have them. They sound very good honestly. But they need more volume. Volume is too low. They are very comfortable. I would say 7/10 for sound quality.
@ruzeveh I didn't purchase them. I have the orginals and from what I read in their specs, there wasn't enough of an improvement for me to purchase them at that price point. I have to be careful since I purchase the majority of the earbuds I review.
I say the sound quality is really good and it has the unique ability to play sound source through the charger. But the software on iOS at least is underdeveloped

It has too much of bass which is killing other frequencies and overall sound quality. The best earbuds i loved is Bose QC 2 till now. I am yet to try Beoplay EX and Denon Perl Pro..
I'm sorry to hear you didn't like the Gemini IIs, but I understand. Sounds hit different ears differently. The Denone PerL Pros are a great pair as well. IMO, the Beoplay EQ/EX have great sound, but their natural volume is too low.
I've had the mtw3, ath twx9, app2, b2p and the bose qce ultras. Also got a buds fe The ultras made me enjoy my music so much more. That bass is so clean and hit me in my head.

$900 is a massive ripoff. They retail for $570, and some people sell them brand new for $500

Svanars aren’t as good as I was expecting and fit was almost impossible to achieve

I bought both, but I have to say the Beoplay EX is only worth $250. Overall, it's really garbage at its original price.

I think using stock ear-tips can ensure better sound quality unless u can guarantee that those 3rd party ear-tips are just as good…
For me, the SpinFit eartips are better. But everyone's ears are different.

I had the Gemini I's breifly but returned them. The Gemini IIs are way better, IMO.
