the boys all actually have a solo each for that dance break and they took turns taking the stage on music shows! it's always so amazing how they are such great dancers with their own unique style when it comes to solo dance moments.
Watching a stage definitely sold the song for me because the choreo is so fun and upbeat, as per usual for these boys. The MV also really ups the energy to an otherwise chill beat in my opinion. It's grown on me as I've listened to it more, for sure!
MCND actually produced 3 tracks out of this album, and Castle J wrote, composed and produced Outro! MCND said this comeback focuses more on their playful performances and how they could perform while having fun. It's more focused on the choreography and the hook :)
I like the fact that the instrumentation is a bit more bare-boned and consistent because that beat, melody, and especially the hook is FIRE. Their vocals/rapping are driving most of the song and I think that's what makes it unique. Their individuality is what makes MCND unique (PD said something along these lines in their reaction too). Crush is just a vibeee Like you pointed out, the song has a very constant beat but the fact that the boys made it sound so interesting and vibey even though nothing really stands out except the dancebreak is incredible

Crush for me is more of a chilling vibe type of song that is catchy and gets even better the more you hear it. It's nice to see the boys trying out other things but keeping their MCND uniqueness in all their songs. The choreo of course is always amazing (Can't spell main dancer w/o M-C-N-D after all :D). I like what you said about their ad libs being cute too. It kind of reflects how they always have fun with their music.
If you watch the live stage you'll experience the song better. The song production is bare bones like you said but if you hear it in combination with seeing the energy they put into their dancing it's great!
