    Crazy how you read my mind. I have watched all of your videos and use them anytime I travel. Im headed to PR and Rincon in two weeks and was complaining that no one had a great video about it. Now here you are lol.

    Yes, we went there as a family in June, '94. Two of my relatives from Ohio moved there for the last years of their lives, and just chilled. Had a house right by the beach. I was 19 at the time. We got to drink beers so that was great. Weather was great as well as the surf. Not a surfer and never have been. But PR in general is beautiful. Great people there as well!

    I'm a local and we do not refer to North America as "mainland". The colony status is a huge thorn on our backsides. Please try using Spanish. We welcome everyone, but we appreciate efforts to learn about our culture and our small country. Please remind tourists to keep our beaches clean.

    The reason why there's so many English speaking things, is because the U.S (mainland), has given the U.S citizens tax breaks to purchase land/houses/condos/etc, meanwhile the citizens of Puerto Rico, cannot afford to purchase houses/land/condos/etc., and no they don't get the same tax breaks.

    Iam Puerto Rican living in Chicago and will be spending a month in Puerto Rico this winter.
    Thank you for the video of Rincón as that’s where I’m headed and thank you for mentioning some of our authentic Puerto Rican dishes: We eat arroz con habichuelas or gandules( beans or pigeon peas), lechón, mofongo,pasteles (root vegetable n meat pie wrapped in banana leaf),pastelillos(aka empanadas),alcapurrias,
    Tostones(green fried plantains) and Maduros (ripe sweet fried plantains) to name a few.
    If you come to Puerto Rico to experience our culture, these are the foods you should be eating or trying.
    Pls, Pls don’t come to PR looking for tacos and burritos, go to Mexico for that.
    We sell tacos n burritos because that’s what ppl know as Hispanic food, and so we offer it but that is NOT PR food.
    Pls pass that on Walter.
    Love your videos!

    Funny someone would think a nuclear plant would be dirty. One of the cleanest sources of energy currently.

    • @echepr
      @echepr 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is dirty. Yes the emissions are water vapor and it is clean but the nuclear waste is dirty as hell for 100 of 100 of 100 of years. Nuclear waste are buried or cover in cement to dump it in the deep ocean. That plant in specific were closed 3 years after opened due radiation leak, then were cover with cement just like chernobyl to minimize the radiation leak, BTW still leaking.
