I only JUST learned about the windows first, walls after trick like a week or two ago. It is game changing for building! This house turned out spectacular. I definitely tend to build only on flat lots but I found this video to be very inspiring.
This is a great build! I can only hope to build this great one day! Definitely looking forward to those retaining walls if LordCrumps wants to share them. 😁
Love this! Also love the different challenges you're giving yourself. It's so easy to keep doing what you're comfortable doing in the sims, but going out of your comfort zone can be so worth it. This build is so gorg!!
Thank you so much lovely! I have been wanting to experiment more with slopey terrain builds and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. Made me really inspired to do some more riverfront builds in this area!
Oh my goodness, this is such a beautiful house! I adore the floorplan and the walkout basement, and that view! Wow! The way you furnished the kitchen/living room with the open floor plan brought in so much light - it must be absolutely wonderful sitting in there with all of that nature around. I also loved the walkin closet - even with pretty few pieces of clothing it looked minimalistic and "designed" like that, so I thought it fit well. I love that painting, it's so fun 😂I think you found the perfect house to put it in. As for the windows in the sloped roof (I could have sworn I learned this from you? But I might be wrong🤔) The only thing you need to do in order for the windows to become seethrough after you place them where you want them with move objects on is to click on the roof piece with the roof slope tool and it will reset the walls and fix the windows. You calling Benjamin Long "dill" really cracked me up it was somehow humorous, uncalled for, and accidentally on point all at the same time 😂 Really loved this video, your narration and the build itself ❤
Oh gosh maybe I did teach you that about the roof windows 🙈 my brain these days, OI. I'll have to double check if that still works for me!! So glad you enjoyed the build! ❤ I really enjoyed how it turned out and was super glad that I ended up filming it! And Benjamin Long is a total dill hahaha, the word popped out and I was like "yep, that just about sums him up" 🤣
Thank you! Yeah I have been wanting to try getting braver with terrain in The Sims 2, it turned out better than I expected! The backyard definitely needs some more landscaping & retaining walls when she can afford it, just so there are some flat areas for Sims and the doggo to use, but I enjoyed the extra scope for imagination that the sloped terrain gave me 😊
Yeah, Lord Crumps has some short ones up (which are brilliant!) but those tall ones with the dirt top for flowerbeds are cuuute! I did a walk-out basement as a garage once with a tutorial. They look daunting but once you get the hang of it they're pretty fun!
The lay-out of this house is absolutely stunning combined with the placement and the view. 😍 And your decorating matches it perfectly, really beautiful. That view from the kitchen and living area! ❤ I can totally imagine sitting there, drinking my morning coffee, enjoying the view, listening to the sounds of the water and smelling the fresh air. 🥰 Meanwhile here, I look out the window and it's grey and raining, so I'll stick to that image when I drink my coffee this morning. 😂
I love building with wacky terrain, i remember reading a tutorial for it on the exchang back in the day and always recall it when im building on a slope hehe Great build!! ❤ Also lordcrumps please share these retaining walls i love them so much!!
I didn't repo it myself haha, I realised as I watched the video back that I made it sound like I did 😅🤦 you can find it here! www.google.com/amp/s/beautifulnerdkitty.tumblr.com/post/160165306834/spatia-kitchen-included-2-counters-2-small/amp

Way back in my original sims 2 day ((before other sims games)) I built loads of wall basements. It was always a favorite!
Beautiful build. 😍 I love the small details of like putting items in the cupboards. I just think that is so cool.
This is a great build! I can only hope to build this great one day!
Definitely looking forward to those retaining walls if LordCrumps wants to share them. 😁
This turned out beautifully😍 Its really not easy to work with uneven terrain but this is definitely inspiring to give it more of a go

Its a brilliant idea to repository to the BB Basic Kitchen! There are so many recolours for that kitchen!!
just from the thumbnail alone this looks so cool! nabbing floorplans and inspo is rad. it takes all the mental load off of thinking of it yourself
This is so wonderful! I’m inspired because I’ve also been wanting to play around more with building on sloped lots, but Brightmaple doesn’t have any 😂

Also: why is calling Benjamin a "dill" so perfectly accurate?! 😂😂
Such a beautiful build and so relaxing to watch! 💕

Great build!! ❤
Also lordcrumps please share these retaining walls i love them so much!!
I have put the request to Lord Crumps haha, hopefully he will upload them soon!😊
Is the door under the deck functional? I didn't think sims could go under decks no matter how high they are.
no idea lol, if not I'll just replace the deck with flooring and columns!
Yooo, do you have that repositoried counter set available anywhere? 👀
I didn't repo it myself haha, I realised as I watched the video back that I made it sound like I did 😅🤦 you can find it here! www.google.com/amp/s/beautifulnerdkitty.tumblr.com/post/160165306834/spatia-kitchen-included-2-counters-2-small/amp
@@TeaAddict Haha no worries, thank you!
Would you consider uploading the empty world you made for Hansen River?
Yeah I can do that, I'll pop it on SimFileShare later today and put a link under the video
that would be amazing thank you!@@TeaAddict
@@awesomekateface there's a link in the video description now
