Ruger GP100 2.5 inch 7 shot. I carry it on occasion. As of 2024, November , Ruger is turning out better product these days. Smith has sacrificed customers for profit margin. It’s hit and miss with them.
Ruger makes a sp101 in 327 x6, sw does the same but doesn’t offer anything in 38 or 357 x6 in a small (j frame). The m66 is closer to a gp100 than a j frame.

Great Vid looking to buy this revolver thanks, I subbed
Thank you! You can't go wrong with a gp100

Colt has the king cobra. It's similar in size to the sp and it's a 6 shot 357
@@oreGUNboy for a tiny 6x357 the k6s is unbeatable right now.
IMHO negative on the Hogue grips. The stock grips afford just as much recoil protection and look better.
I actually think this hogue grip absorbs more recoil. It has foam built into it so it is really cushiony!
The stock grips look like garbage
Yeah I wasn't a fan. I couldn't believe the fitment wasn't perfect.
Altamonte makes some beautiful wood grips for this pistol.
@@oreGUNboy If you swap out the grips I have no doubt you will put these back on especially when you shoot it. I like the Ruger stock grips.
