    I have cracked the double shuffle thanks to this tune, it’s now embedded deep into muscle memory. Thanks Chris!

    Thank you! I have the simple tune down. My fingers tell me that the Kenny baker version will have to wait.

    Nice one, Chris. I hadn't heard the Kenny Baker version of that before - really good! I notice your pinky bends almost at a right angle when playing the [A note + C note] double stop. I thought I was the only one that did that! I found the double stops section a little easier to follow if I set the TH-cam player to 0.75% speed.

    Very nice lesson thank you!
    I'm still dreaming about my first fiddle, for now I'm playing fiddle tunes on harmonica :)

    Chris any chance of doing something from Jon Sevink, the Levellers fiddler?

      Hi Darren. Interesting idea! What would you recommend as his best fiddle parts/solos?

    • @Badgermanpeveril
      @Badgermanpeveril 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheFiddleChannel The Boatman intro solo, Cholera Well intro riff, The Riverflow riff, The Road riff, and the Kitty Jay riff by his mate Seth Lakeman. They are both good at writing songs where the song is king but weave beautiful fiddle parts around the vocals in a very modern way. They both sound very different to the trad stuff and it’s interesting how they achieve that modern sound.

    You are missing a lot of notes.
    Oh boy.
    I think you might be holding the bow wrong too.
