It was written by David Paich, the song based on an old George Lucas movie entitled “THX 1138” (1971). the film is set in a dystopian future where people are forced to comply to a dictator-like authority, control of emotions, forbidding love. Individuals are assigned serial numbers instead of actual names. And the person whom the singer is addressing, a girl called “99” (not an official character in the that movie), would apparently be such an individual. Highly recommend a reaction for that one! 💗 And their song Africa is iconic too. Weezer did a cover of it pretty recently.

Bobby Kimball was singing lead. he sings the high parts and Steve Lukather (the amazing lead guitarist) usually sings the other parts. But "Lizzie" you should review the "Rosanna" video so you can see Bobby and Steve trade off singing parts. Great Toto song as well!!! The "I'll be over you" video is pretty good and has Michael McDonald joining them on background vocals too. But I would say Rosanna should be your next review followed by Africa
