My mother was an immigrant but she came here through legal and proper channels, by getting her visa and then citizenship in the USA. That's nice of you to say, however, this poor guy will be just another statistics among the many who have been abused, are being currently abused or will be in the future. What is necessary right now is that adults stand up to make sure that such a woman or man is immediately stopped and held accountable. She might as well have killed him and nobody would have cared other than the people filming. The respect you or anybody feel for him won't do him any good.

I am extremely proud of this young man. He certainly handled himself in a manner that certainly earned not only respect for himself but his family. Very impressive.
