"Florence, ain't you got nothin' to do except sittin' here?" "I dunno. Make me an offer." "Well, why don't you try washin' the dishes?" "That ain't better than sittin' here." Love George and Florence!
@@stopdeforestation You're entitled to your opinion, I just don't agree with it. "Fake" Lionel tried too hard to fit in and it made me cringe when he called them Mom and Pop. I was so used to Mike playing that part in All in the Family, I just couldn't get used to anyone else in that role.
Which Lionel did everyone like best? Mike Evans as Lionel or Damon Evans as Lionel? For me personally I liked Mike Evans better as Lionel. When Damon played Lionel his version of the character was much to sensitive, easily offended, and always seem to play the victim. While on the other hand when Mike play Lionel he was a lot more laid back and seemed to enjoy life more. But Mike always seemed to never be able to keep a straight face in most of the scenes he was in throughout the shows run. Always about to break character.
He's the original character going back to "All In the Family" and was very well liked and friends with Gloria Bunker and Mike Stivic. However, he was also one of the writers of Good Times, and the reason for leaving The Jeffersons to it build up Good Times in its inception. Then he came back towards the end of the Jeffersons' run.
The part where Mother Jefferson starts crying after her grandson catches her hand and hugs her after she tries to slap him.😢
Ikr. I feel tears in my eyes whenever I see that part
That got me too
That was such a respectful thing. I felt that in my soul when he did that.
Sooooo loving and respectful. Then she grabs Louise and hugs her. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@sistagirllondon Lol... Yeah, Louise was looking like she didn't know what to do or say after that.
Jenny: "Somewhere between "I " and "UHHH" lol 😆
George was "something else!"
❤❤❤❤

Me too
😂😂😂😂
Florence is the best!

All 3 of them are hilarious: Willis, George and Louise.
Fantastic episode 😂😂😂
I just never could get into that new Lionel. Michael Evans was THE Lionel for me.
I agree! He was like an imposter!
Wrong. Mike Evans was full of it the only member of the cast that didn't fit. Damon Evans was charming, he could act. Mike couldn't.

@@sassatlast9226 the fake Lionel was Mike Evans. He made me cringe. No other cast member made me feel that way
I liked the replacement Lionel better.
Was more believable as a Jefferson son.

@cassandrafine6373 - Oh yea I'm aware of all of that. I was just curious as to which Lionel people preferred.
I never warmed up to the new Lionel 😒😒
Mother Jefferson ready to post up on Louise.

I remember seeing this like it was yesterday 😊
Speak to your son i did but he got married anyway 😂😂😂😂
Should've showed the episode where Lionel put a dent in the van
In All in the Family, Archie also went back to high school.
You wasn't a mistake Lionel the other one was
