Spurs need spacing. Risacher was supposed to add that but his shooting has taken a nosedive the last few months. Spurs need a shooter like Sheppard or Dillingham to bring pressure and the double teams away from wemby next season. If spurs need defense, they bring in wemby. If spurs need offense and wemby and vassell are struggling, they have no answer.

@@Austin2Sexy I do agree about us currently needing a shooter. But you know what’s weird Austin we already had a guy like Doug McDermott which is an excellent 3 point Shooter and it didn’t seem to do a whole lot for us. Seems like we are in desperate need of a good Facilitators as well. I also like Zvonimir Ivisic he’s a Big that can shoot and space the floor pretty good for a Big man. If only we could get him late in the draft 😕

Unfortunately the Spurs keep winning when they should be losing. We need a top 3 pick to draft one of Sarr, Risacher, or Topic. Otherwise we might be looking at an undersized guard who can’t defend (Dillingham) or worse. I am not very high on the American players, with the exception of the UConn guys (Castle or Clingan) but with the 7 or 8 pick.
Ideal scenario: we draft either Sarr or Risacher with a top 2 pick and then Topic slips to 7.

    • @vc7658
      @vc7658 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Topic ain’t that good, he can’t shoot and lack dribbling skills and many other skills to be polished and nba star player athleticism.
Tho I totally agree on you about Rob.D for his undersize.
Here I would recommend u checking on Carlton Carrington. He is 6”4/5 point guard that I think secretly should be the top 3 pg especially for our Spurs team. If you ask me, he is the best Pg in the class. Cus why not? Go watch his game ; )
Secondly, I also feel a bit disappointed for losing out 3rd lowest rank and dropped to 4th. To tell the scientific truth that drops our probability. But while I’m glad to see our guys win like today against Nuggets, there could be a good reward coming out of this. Manu and Graham literally boosted their market value. So these two to three games are definitely essential for not only the team asset growth, but also Mamu and Graham themselves. We must be so happy to see this. Since this definitely surges change on their nba careers.
For the draft lottery results, all we can do is to pray for universe and god for our blessings!

  • @MarcoDeLasVegas

Sarr and Risascher being good defenders would be good for the team.
Sarr would revive the new SA twin towers, be positioned at 4 in the starting 5 and 5 when Wemby's out. Sochan would be 3 instead of 4 and would go for 4 when Wemby's out and Sarr is 5.
Risascher would also be a good option as a 3 pts shooter to make space in the paint.
And of course we need a PG, but I think an experienced one would be a better option. Several main PG talents could be available in the next 2 years as free agents.

    • @vc7658
      @vc7658 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

Exactly! Sochan at 4 plus weak 1-3 position’s defence have put too much dangerous burden on Wemby every single game while he is playing center.
Sochan is tbh quite undersized with mediocre lateral ability and bounce and can’t guard any 4-5 players. (Despite, he has been wonderful guarding opponent 1-3)

As french, I have followed a little the progression of our young talents (Risacher, Sarr, Ajinca, Salaun, Dadiet,...). I don't think that Risacher will have a big impacct next year with his new team (not what is expected from a 1st pick). Every big steps he had to make (such as his first appear with national team) was a miss. I don't think that he has the same spirit than Wemby (his win desire) and his debut in NBA could be quite difficult (even if he should turn as a good player in NBA but in multi years).
Sarr should impact more in his first martches in NBA. I think that he is less skilled than Risacher but he should turn as a good NBA player right now. He still need to work on the ball handling and the play on post.

  • @vc7658

I LOVE YOU NBA SWISH ❤🎉 CHEERS FOR SUCH INSIGHT VIDEO THAT NOBODY HAS EVER TALKED ABOUT!
Wemby’s best aid comes from not only 3 point shooting and point guard, but also the more important DEFENSIVE END HELP that can drastically prevent Wemby from getting injuries from overload burden. Without health, career ends. Without health, everything is ZERO
I love and totally agree with your insight on eyeing on natural size & athleticism advantage which ends the situation where Wemby is forced to defend 2 men by himself within the paint area EVERY SINGLE NIGHT while playing often heavy loading CENTER position.
That’s something maybe Wemby himself doesn’t care because he has been him since opening his eyes. But GOSH! I can’t tell you how scary those twist of angles from him while he jumped like a beast and came down hard. He had twisted his angles several times already in recent months.. Listen, but the point is most players in nba won’t twist their angle that many times within a year. We definitely observed a Tendency for Wemby.. he might not be a lucky special that doesn’t get hurt while we all are thinking too ideally. We don’t want to cry over spilled milk.
    Cheers!

a point guard, a high percentage wing and a BIG to back up or take the pressure off VWemby by draft or trade or free agent. (One if by land Two if by free...) Because TYoung would probably cost sas their 25, 26, 27 Atlanta picks, I'd rather see sas give up anything else for DMitchell and keep the Atlanta picks. Because ANY 2025 lottery pick has a percent chance of going all the way up to #1,2,3,4 in the 2025 draft and getting that fortunate would be all over for rest of nba teams if sas get that lucky. I 'd keep their own 2025 draft pick just in case they get a lottery pick from their own season for an extra added % at top 4 prospects BUT I really doubt sas will land in lottery again unless VW has an injury year.

My order is 1) Sarr (Twin towers), 2) Risacher, 3) Topic. All depends on how the pingpong balls drop. Any of those 3 will make us better. Can focus on what we don't get through trades/free agency. Perfect result aftter the draft would be Wemby (5/4) Sarr (5/4) Sochan with his 3 continuing to improve at the 3, Vassell at the 2, and Trey is fine for now at the 1, ideally he'll be the second unit PG of a championship team. I'd love Sarr primarily defending the opposing Center with Wemby able to roam more at the 4 defensively...offensively they can alternate inside/out.

I feel like Risacher and Sarr will go 2-3, so I'm not optimistic on the Spurs selection. And we may be disappointed to see Topic get drafted ahead of us. That leaves us with a likely Dillingham selection. Last year I was certain we wouldn't get 1, but the San Antonio Nuns were praying for Wemby and that's what happened. Sarr, Resacher and Topic are all good additions to Spur.
But If we get Raptor's pick,
how about go for Magic's Isaac?
This season Wemby is often defending two or more guys at same time, he needs some help.
If Isaac joins us, we can play swishing defense on front court sooooo well.
Plus, we can avoid Wemby losing stamina quickly.
    In my imagination,
    thistrade should be like this:
    Spur gets: Issac + 2024 Magic's 1st round pick
Magic gets: Raptor's pick + Malaki + maybe two 2st round picks.
    If it's a done deal,
then imagine we put Wizard's Avdija along with Wemby & Isaac.
Solid defense + iso + a little bit playmaking.
Sounds like Ben Simmons with shoot + good attitude and only 4yrs/5500M.
But it would cost more assets to make it come true.
That'd in my mind like this:
    Spur gets: Avdija
Wizard gets: Magic's pick+ Bull's pick + Keldon + Graham( to help with salary match)
    If we go lucky,
we may have the starters line like this:
    Wemby
    Isaac
    Avdija
    Vassell
Plus our own 2024 1st pick to backup.
We all know pop's great at developing offense in DEFENSIVE TALENTS.
Even if we finally go for Trae with Hawk's picks,
this kind of defensive starters line will make it more acceptable.

After 904 days, Isaac made his return for Magic this season.

Every team knows Magic's a ticking time bomb.
      They have too many bigmen,
and too many rookies to extend contracts in few years.
      Including Banchero's Max.
We can help them with pick moving up for future talents, and Malaki for backup SG with shoot.
I think we still have a little chance.

I think you nailed "shooting ability first" and that leaves very few proven players according to their past year. Even sari hasn't shot above 40% and Risacher has fallen out of 40% 3pt makes so that leaves who? reed, cwilliams, dillingham. I think those with proven brothers already in the nba augments the other brother so that helps sarr and williams. That'd be my first pick, as for point guards the supposed top ones don't shoot 40% except for dillingham but he's short offset with quickness, skill+. Topic is enticing but poor defense and no long distance shot has got to scare ya. So castle and many of the other point guards with height haven't shown a 3 pt shot.... Should be fun and interesting to see where the picks go may 12.

This is 100% accurate, especially with Risacher.. Main stream media and some fans are saying Reed Sheppard and Dilingham, but guys built like Sarr and Risacher are the move for our franchise and previous drafts picks point to that model. Best case scenario would be to walk away with sarr and risacher, but I only see us getting 1 of them

As a season ticket holder of the Spurs watching Wemby this year in person has been a joy. I know we need another big like either Sarr or Edey for sure, we also def need a guard to complement trae Jones. Jones is young but need an off guard to balance the front court. With another 7 footer and a guard like trae young or we will even take Murray back from Atlanta for sure but we do need these ends and a little more time to truly compete say 2-3 more years. As a long time Spurs fan I could see them going for Nikola Topic which is a 6’6 point guard that has crazy good facilitating. If the Raptors picks falls to 7 and pans out maybe we can pick up another 1st round player like Matas Buzelis or Risacher. I doubt that Risacher will fall all the way to 7 though he’s probably expected to go sooner. So Buzelis would be a bit more realistic.

Wemby needs to stay at forward , and draft Zach Eddy at Center. 7' 4" 300 pound centers don't grow on trees. I know the Spurs need wings and Gaurds who can shoot. But if you can get a Center that big next to Wemby no one is scoring in the paint. They would be the next Twin Towers. You can always find a guard later in the Draft. These other guys like Sarr will be gone.
