    That looks like a very nice swap kit. Not cheap, but how much is your time worth? I'm sold.

    Probably not gone use everything in this kit because I'm going a 4l80e route but good thing is I'm a cnc machinist & fabricator 😅 but alot of the things offered I will use

      These kits are designed as a complete system so switching things out can be problematic due to the tight tolerances and that our components are not made to work with other brands components. The good news is that making your own 4l80 bracket won't effect the engine so using our mounts/oil pan/headers will retain proper fitment. You will want to be careful and make sure your setting the trans angle correct to pinion angle.

    When swapping in a LS, can you retain air conditioning? I'm looking to build a DD and i live where its really hot.

      We make a kit specifically for retaining AC on the E30 chassis www.sikky.com/product/sikky-e30-ls1-ac-kit/

      YEs, it's in the LS family so will work fine. All LS related engines which is far more than the ones that have LS in their names. LQ9 etc.....

    Is an e30 ls swap that popular? Is e30 just 82-94?

      @SikkyTV  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is quite popular. These cars are an absolute blast to drive after swapped. Check out the build profiles on this channel with LS swaps to learn more. Super fun to drive!!

      lol, thanks for the feedback. Not gonna fire the intern over this but the constructive criticism has been delivered to get him to lower the volume of background music!

    What rear end do you guys see people run? I’d assume stock axles and dif can’t hold up ls power?

    • @SikkyTV
      @SikkyTV  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Really depends on what your doing with the car after the swap. Surprisingly, stock rear and axles can hold up and do quite well. If it's a daily, weekend fun car they will for sure as long as not already in bad shape prior to the swap. Now if you think you want to throw slicks on it and launch it at a drag strip then yes 100% you will be pushing them to the breaking point likely. Most of the time though the tires break loose before you can really damage stuff. It's the high shock load types of driving like clutch kicks or drag launches that will find the weak point in the drivetrain.
