    Im so incredibly surprised there isn't more tutorials like this on youtube. Great talk, I had to learn all of this by getting yelled at by producers on set. This would have helped so much!

      There's so little info on producing reality tv...which is weird considering how big of a genre it is and how long it has been that way

    I think it boils down what you want to see then everyone else is seeing it with you. Commit means to go all the way with the decision you've made through the developed feel. Amongst people, what people "see" can vary and be awkward if people are going against it or if they aren't then they don't know what to see. They can't really film then as it's not understandable. As long as you are doing what you want to see and ironing out all the technical problems to make that as understandable as possible then people should feel involved too.
