Living in Japan right now as an American, It's sooo great to see his energy on the court in America as a Japanese person. He looks like he was born there! It’s wonderful how he fits in completely abroad and loved by everyone there, especially a lot of improvement in English! It’s not easy to talk like that for Japanese people. 日本から応援しています!
THE REASON Nebraska is doing what they are doing right now is because of any identity. Which means players that actually stay beyond one year. This guy is an identity to the team. Exactly what they needed 👏
I've seen Bronny play. Seen Keisei play. Keisei carries the team and plays with above intense passion. Bronny plays for himself. The kid can play. Hope some NBA team drafts him in the future.
To be honest with you the chance of him being drafted NBA is really really small. 6’2 with short wing span, no athleticism, barely 1 assist per game, defensively no-no etc. NBA changed dramatically teams wants more taller lankier players nowadays.
@@rekt3619 also he will be old, this is his senior year in college. Nba teams dont want old rookies. NBAに通用するとは思っていなかった!ごめん、富永くん! Initially, I didn't think he'd be NBA material, thought he would be a G Leaguer, or play professional league in Europe/Australia. But he was on a hot streak against my Hoosiers, and also playing well against Purdue in the upset. And should the Nebraska be able to get into the tourney, which they'd likely be, and regardless of how far Nebraska goes, he's gonna make case to be a legit draft pick. Not only having a range like Steph Curry, but compared to Yuta Watanabe and Rui Hachimura, Keisei has experience in playing in a tougher conference in Big Ten and playing with so much passion, and that could be a plus for him in the draft. Warriors, Sixers, Mavs seems to be a legit destination, though Hawks and Pacers making sense based on his play style.
Glad Nebraska fans embraced him. I guess the media portray of USA being racist and anti Asian is way blown out of proportion. Hope he will be safe and respected when he plays on the road, or travel to the South. Peace and Love.
asians at most get clowned on in jokes like white people in America. They’re statistically one of the wealthiest and most successful groups in the country, there’s really no evidence of racism against them from the state at this point. That wasn’t always the case especially during WWII and the 1800’s, but outside that they’re not really subject to conditions of racism in modern times. Whether or not they like to admit it, they very much move with a privilege similar to that of white people. IE, if the “offensive” stereotypes about your race are that you’re good at math you’re probably doing pretty well as a collective.
Stay in Nebraska, Keisei. You are young, and you know how the Japanese B League works. You will improve and the reward will flow when it is time, unless the NBA comes knocking.
