As of patch 0.14.9.5 PMC AI Behavior has changed. They are now programmed to move, roam, and go to sounds, much more often. This means some of the info in this video could be wrong or outdated!
I would definitely love to see this for all maps, video timing is great because I just started Setup last night. For me New Gas seems to be their congregating point now for whatever reason, I have come across full squads of 4/5 PMCs every time I've gone through there lately
I LOVE the little info videos or strategy type videos like this. The long plays are great too, but these short snippets are incredibly helpful for us who haven't played enough or followed the devs announcements enough to realize how all these things work 🙌

The spawns on Ground Zero have been insane , trying to get to the terragroup building you’ll be fighting atleast a full group of pmc’s and probably 10 plus scavs everytime
On Reserve the PMC spawns from what I've seen are: -between and around the knight buildings -at the small gas station to the north of black Knight -between Queen and black Knight by the mortar pit, more to the side of black Knight -in the south stairwell of black pawn and patrolling between that and the west entrance of black Bishop -i always hear them in the bunkers, but I never went down there, for I'm scaving on Reserve. -I also think I heard PMCs shooting in the train station, but that could have been Gluhar. Hope that helps for the Reserve PMC spawn video
Scav on Customs is now THE best way to get some money. Is very easy to avoid combat with the pmcs so half of the map you can be looting all by yourself. Today I found 2 military filters in the same run… sold for 1.4M each kkkkk
To clear RUAF pretty chill what I generally do is go to the opposite side of the river from them, behind the hut at the end of the bridge (through junk bridge if I spawn on the same side as them), I find that peeking it slowly from there kinda messes up their AI and they very rarely see you and shoot back, worst case scenario they'll run towards you to try and get an angle on you through the APC bridge on the map, but more often than not they just get triggered/confused and run towards a spot to hit in which makes them easy pickings. This has mixed results when they're behind the buildings towards unknown key, but if I hear any activity from that side of the map or see either dead scavs or no scavs whatsoever, I shoot 1-2 bullets in the trees to the left of the buildings to try to lure them out.
I've fought PMCs at old gas as well, as early as the first few days of PVE. I haven't fought any PMCs at shipping yard, but I've heard them where I believed they were in there but could've been new gas.

I really hope they make the ai accuracy more realistic, I got access to pve and the first thing I noticed on ground zero is how they will basically just laser you from pretty much any distance, so long as they see you, I just think they should have a bit of an accuracy drop because while in close range they are pretty easy to kill with most weapons, its still aids getting lasered from across the river while im literally still at the train
Beware of Gas Station, youll get beamed 3 times out of 4 while jumping short cut, also the PMCs from Fortress have been seen running to Medical too so keep an eye on Medical for unexpected PMC group

why is it that the PMCs and Scavs don't fight? They do shoot the Scavs whenever they bump shoulders though. Noticed it yesterday after doing some Scav runs for gear since I get owned all the time on my PMC.
I've been loving pve but man they need to increase raid times and decrease scav numbers i died yesterday trying to extract at old gas because 15 scavs had spawned and I didn't have time to fight them all......the raid started at 30 minutes as well
@@AcezEFT whenever I play factory, if there are bears and not usec pmc, if I shoot the bear, the scavs agro on me. I have lost fence rep but never killed a scav as a scav... This is just in PVE mode mind you. Dont have the issue on PVP

They dont spawn crack, ran 15 raids for a weekly, and didn't see them once

I've seen PMC's at Big Red playing as a PMC 2 times and saw a PMC inside of Scav Garage playing as a scav

1-2 pmcs can also spawn between the reshala pic and the power line above because i had 2 bears there. (While usecs were at gas)

Fortress/Stronghold has been the bane of my existence since getting into PvE. They never spawn there unless I have 1hp and a dream.
Also have seen them spawn right outside of medical, seen them spawn in big red a lot too
Add Big Red, I went up to the directors office and a group of 4 PMCs made their way at the entrance and able to see you at the door from below.

Ugh shoreline is absolute misery in PVE. Raids too short, hail mary sightlines from a zip code away, it just sucks.
2:39 with the ruaf pmc, you can shoot at them from the trains with a 4x scope, and they won't shoot back

Not sure what you mean. You don't lose rep for killing any PMCs as a scav. Scavs don't agro you after either.
