Thank you all… it’s been my pleasure to be here with you for 2.5 years. See you on the flip-side.
I started this channel in January of 2021 to share my knowledge of selling digital downloads on Etsy, or any other platform, as well as my experience with Print on demand. I do my best to bring you the most relevant content about selling print on demand and printables, creating interesting print on demand designs, testing myself print on demand products and their quality, as well as provide you with marketing tutorials, and so much more! I recommend many services and websites in my videos, some may contain affiliate links- which means that you can have a discounted price, or the same price, while I earn a bit of a commission for the referral- to help support this channel and the costs of producing the videos.

Hi! I created coloring pages with Repper that I sell on Etsy. It is such a fantastic application!
Thanks for the kind words. Coloring books for the win! 💪
Happy to hear that !!
I think that when I get back from my vacation in January I will be making a full video on everything coloring pages related, all the ways to create and all the ways to sell !!
Thank you, for creating this informative video. I purchased Repper (Annual Plan) using your link.
Glad it was helpful! and hope you're having fun with your patterns
Use it to make patterns in my zazzle and spoonflower shops.
That's so cool ! Are you selling fabrics on zazzle or something else with these patterns?
I actually ordered some zazzle fabrics to test out and compare with the one I have from printful !
Thank you so much Mey for this video and for introducing me to Repper App. I usually create my patterns in Illustrator but this is soooo much easier. I immediately singed up for 14 day free trial and created 12 patterns. This app is addictive and also hypnotizing.
I know !!! i can create these patterns with CSP or Procreate, but this is easier, faster, and the "collection" and save button options just make it so much easy to use the app and get into the creative flow, make a full collection, and download later !!
OMG!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this app!!!! As soon as I heard you say you can do almost anything with the patterns, I knew this was a necessary tool for me!!! Thank you so much for this review and intro to repper!!!! I'm a brand new repper user, thanks to you!!!!
Enjoy making patterns with Repper! And let me know if you have any questions :) - Wouter
I know !! they are amazing !!!
Now, as a new Repper user, what are you planning to do with your patterns?? :)
super f... amazing !!! love your videos Mey!!
Glad you like them!
Wow, thank you so much for sharing! I recently opened a Zazzle store thanks to another video you posted. I'm still finding my niche as a creator. Repper is a game-changer for me. My heart is filled with joy thanks to you!! Repper seems to be a digital version of a kaleidoscope that I can save the images. LOVE!!!
Def a game changing tool !! I also started using them for Zazzle, with wrapping paper, notebooks, and shower curtains :)
that looks like something i'd play with 3 days non stop. so fun!
I know !! I am there every day, trying to find the easiest way to download in certain sizes for Society6... and also trying to find patterns to combine on zazzle :)
Wow! I love how your hair matches your top. You are the greatest font of information on creative apps and selling platforms. I can’t begin to tell you how grateful I am! Thank you so much.
❤ Shirley
Ohh that's so sweet of you to say !!
This is way more exciting than selling t shirts, thank you. I would of never known about this app if it wasn't for your channel.
Happy to see you like it, and YEAH- much more exciting than Tshirts...
I remember when I went into starting this channel and seeing what other people do I was surprised so many people are designing tshirts, when back then I had a RB shop for years and haven't even activated them LOL
Hello from Canada! Just discovered your channel and I love it! This app is AWESOME!! Thanks!
Hi Mey. Great video. I absolutely love love love Repper. I have been using it for over a year and used it to make some patterns for fanny packs and some pillows for myself. I really love the fact that you can use just about anything for a source image, and yes it is very addictive. I think my favorite effect is metamorphosis.
I am so angry that viewers have been using this app for years and didn't tell me haha How did I only hear about them now ???
The metamorphosis became a favorite of mine as well, was making some interesting shower curtains with it yesterday, such a wonderful way to "break" a pattern LOL
Mey this is GREAT! Thank you so much for all the hard work you do for us. You are simply amazing!
You are so welcome! :) and thanks for appreciating my work, i was rewriting the script for this video like 4 times, trying to make sure the flow is good, and that I don't forget anything LOL nice being appreciated as many people think that making tutorials is easy LOL
yes, I answer back when you talk...but only telepathically...I know you can hear me...because you're an amazing adhd alien type...lol...just like me...we have extra powers untapped...but in our dreams...we are pure energy...of all forms...happy to follow and support...already signed on fabrica and repper...what else? ...enjoy your vacation..looking forward to fabrics and sizing info in January...THANK YOU FOR EXISTING AND DOING THIS CHANNEL!! btw...just clicked on society 6 link and offer is expired...please share again...will be signing on for one year with repper using your discount after two week trial...Thanks again...and again...!

Thank you Mey I love this app so cool I’ve already created so many patterns. I actually used Rawpics and was using some really cool art to create more art! The possibilities are endless 🙌🏾💜
Truly endless!!
Try making an awesome pattern on repper from your pics, and then download the pattern- and use the pattern for more patterns !!
I ❤ you! Thank you for such a great video. First video and totally loving the content and how you present it!
Repper is an amazing tool !
I have 2 more videos with them,
the first is for Society6- covering the making of patterns for all of S6 biggest products

as well as the very recent video showing in more detail the creation of coloring pages using Repper, as well as Kittl and combining both -

This is a game changer for me with limited hand mobility. Perfect! Thanks for sharing and giving us an indepth look.
Happy to help! :)
i have an abandoned redbubble store, might go back and use repper! thanks for this!!
Very cool app. Thanks for sharing it. Definitely want to give it a try.
Glad you liked it
I've just discovered this program, what a game changer!! How cool that you have a discount code for us
Hi I enjoyed this video. I loved to see more videos like this, Oh and I loved that blue pattern you showed on a dress it's to die for in my opinion!! Thanks for sharing!!
There are other repper videos made since this one,
One for Society6:
th-cam.com/video/AB4nADp30QE/w-d-xo.html
And one for coloring pages:
th-cam.com/video/BRVfph_G-qA/w-d-xo.html
Thank you Mey. You are so awesome.
You are!
You've blown my mind! Wow. I am definitely signing up. Love love.
I just started making procreate brushes/ stamps fir stencils in multi media. This gave me some ideas on how to make even more stamp brushes to sell as well!! The possibility is endless. I love this. Thank you you. I'm just learning oil to make seamless patterns in Procreate. 1000 stars 🌟
This app is so cool. Thank you!
Thanks for this, I discovered this pattern making technique through a hidden little effect on the old Corel Photopaint from 20 years ago. Since then I've used that, free apps and Adobe capture most recently. Repper is better than all of them. I have suggested some new features, that in 20 years of this kind of design I have come to want fiercely. Thank you again and I just wanted to let you know I appreciate you sharing this and the discount, which I used gladly for an annual subscription. Be well.
Repper is def better than they are, mostly cause this is Repper's FOCUS. I can also create these patterns on CSP, but the process would be slower, I would have to download all patterns, no saving, no collections, game changer!!
Love the dress metamorphosis. Quite stunning. This app is inspiring and "wow".
I know !! I am having so much fun playing with it
Such a fun tool. Thank you!!!!
Cheers! Give it a go, hope you like it 😊
@@repper got my subscription!
Glad you liked it
Hello Mey, thank you for wonderful infomation! I have a humble request, when you update on Society6, could you please to show us how to create collections? I just can't figure it out.
Last time I was doing the collections part- it was so buggy, to the point where if someone goes into your collections- when they try to get back to you- Society6 directs them to the main page saying "artist not found". Since then- when i stopped doing collections, I never looked at that option.
I am rebooting my S6 shop during my break, and will have a full video on them in january. Sorry I can't give you a better answer faster.
Killer Tutorial. Liked and Subscribed. Thanks
Thanks :)
There is soooo much more to Repper since this video was made :)

WOW! I will NEVER get off the app! I'm a geometric addict for sure - that and spacey trippy hippie stuff too. And yes, I do find myself answering you out into the air 🤣🤣
Have you clicked on Sleep-Mode yet?
Hi Mey! I've been absent for ages now. Life and stuff getting in the way. Anyway, I'm back and raring to go again, so thought I would catch up on some of your videos. What a lovely surprise to see you reviewing Repper, I personally love it and have been using it for a couple of years now. I'm still trying to drill down on what to focus on and I'm pretty certain that patterns are going to be it. I spent a lot of time doing pattern creation when I was under the weather and it helps to calm the body and mind. So now to sort out all the mad patterns I made and use the best ( well the ones I like the best!) to do some new uploads to my shops because they have been seriously neglected these past few months! 😊
Welcome back
@@MeyTribe Hi! I'll probably upload to my Society6 shop, I haven't put anything new on there for ages. I just wish they could sort out the long upload times! I'm also thinking about Zazzle ( watching all your videos on Zazzle at the moment!) I'm also hoping to start selling on CF too. I might look into turning my Etsy shop into a pattern only one, with personal and commercial licenses.
The long uploading time is insane!!
Though, what I do is try to find another task to combine with it.
can be answer comment, or make another quick design, organize computer files.
The uploading process also becomes faster once you have all the sizes you need for the design... Which I will be going into further depth next year when I make a full S6 start to finish tutorial.
Zazzle is def a world!
I got my Zazzle calendar few days ago and it's amazing! Hoping to squeeze in a video on it before the break. What are you thinking you'd be selling there?
And Etsy or CF shops could also be a good idea. I think that in CF you'll have more targeted clients, but on Etsy the commissions would be higher, as there's no subscription involved.
@@MeyTribe Yes, I usually make sure I have something else to do while the uploading process is happening. As for Zazzle, I haven't really explored it yet so I'm not sure what products I would want to put designs on. I'm going to watch your Zazzle tutorials and then probably order some sample products to see what they are like. Then I'll go from there. What I really need to do is not repeat the same mistake of trying to do everything! need to focus on one thing and one platform for now and then expand once it picks up.
Thank you, Mey, this is wonderful! ❤️😘🤗🤗
I'm glad you like it :)
Thank you for covering this brilliant app Mey!! So many awesome patterns to be made, lol!!
I know ! it's like a world of options !!
So funny I was going to buy this but was like…I really love my Procreate! ❤❤ but this is fun 😂😂😂
Very nice! I've been uploading my patterns in Society6 for over a year... I have 30+ designs there but I haven't sold anything. 😥Are there any POD sites I can try?
Wow! This looks like a total game changer!
It truly is !!
I've now been on this for two hours. lol. And, yes, I do answer back.
Nice to know others answer back to me :) and have fun with Repper :)
Also thank you for your videos they are so incredibly valuable! 🙌🥰
Glad you like them! :)
Dammit I love your videos! This is awesome! I’ve been looking for a good pattern making software and this is great! I’m going to try this as soon as I can! Wishing you well!
Your videos are great. You have thinking of a million ideas. But what I wanted to ask you is this- Unless you have already, can you do a tutorial on how to know what sizes to make anything from digital artwork to the mugs, clothes, books, etc. I want to sell digital products but I am still not sure how to save them as different sizes and then transfer that to the website I am selling on. Sorry if I sound confused cuz I am
I've been creating patterns like this for years using Adobe Capture (CA) - first with my photos and recently with my drawing in Procreate. I'll be checking this out -- and comparing patterns. Thanks for the code -- might end up using it!
Thanks for mentioning the upload speed of society 6. I thought something was wrong with my internet speed ;)
That dress would look adorable 😍 I guess as you get further in the game one day you can get your dress made in that design by a manufacture! Or make your own fabric and pay someone with dress making skills to make you just one for yourself! Fashion design ideas woohoo 🙌
There are Print on demand suppliers who make dresses. Maybe not that dress specifically- but you can find dresses on print on demand websites.
(also, totally now I wanna buy that fabric and make that dress myself LOL)
Stable Diffusion does tiled patterns for free. Although it doesn't have this level of options. Just makes a seamless image.
Yeah, I know... I can also create that with CSP, but these options, as well as the collections layout- make it that much easier :)
What would the optimum dpi be for saving and what would the difference be between saving as a jpg or png? I understand the differences of the two, but not when it comes to saving a pattern. Thanks for any help you can give me :)
Very cool app! TFS
It really is!
Love this, Mey! You keep mentioning Society 6 and I wonder why? Is it the design style with this app or perhaps the huge file size that makes it so helpful to use for Society 6? I really don’t know much about Society 6. I’m really going to give this a try as I see SO much potential with it. I’m kind of thinking textiles for home furnishings, like cushions/pillows. Paper packs and background designs. Thanks so much for the discount! 😻💜
I think it's both ! S6 ha a lot of surface designers making a living there, plus- the huge export sizes are def a plus, as you can design ALL of the S6 products using this app, without needing a different tool.
S6 has a variety of home fabrics and furnitures, i love that they have full window curtains!! And I am working on a video about the upload to S6, to "hit" all the sizes, but that one would be in January when i come back after my break :)
Happy you liked this tool, truly awesome!!
@@MeyTribe thanks for explaining that, Mey. Really appreciate it. S6 has been a bit of a mystery to me and after seeing this video I took a look and found out a bit more about it. It seems to be a bit tricky for newbies so I’m looking forward to your video on uploading to S6. Will look back on your past videos, too. And I’m also looking forward to your new YT channel. Thanks for everything, Mey. Luv ya, girl. 😻💜
Yeah, S6 can be def tricky, and there will be a full video on them that takes into account different types of art and uploading process with my shortcuts and tips, but that would be in january... (sorry LOL, too long of a video for me to do now..)
I am looking forward to my new channel as well... I think it would be epic, I just need to finally start it LOL
Hi I am a new subscriber. I love your videos so far. Now I am going to go back to older videos. This app is amazing! When I first saw this I immediately thought of shower curtains. Thank you for the info. I’m going to show my mom to see what she thinks.
Looks amazing, I would like to create prints for blankets and other POD products 😊
Blankets are so cool !! I love my Printful blanket, so fuzzy, great printing quality :)
Wow! Once again you've introduced me to an amazing app! Truly appreciate it! How much DPI for a coloring book? My artist daughter is helping me but not sure about DPI
For a coloring page I think you can be OK with 150 DPI, but you can export in 300 DPI as well, the surface size is not large, and they have any size actually :)
I would also recommend running a test, printing 1-2 pages and see they come out right :)
and happy you liked this video :)
thank you very much 👍👍👍
You're welcome :)
Wether I am using Facade, honeycomb, octagon, it has a seam in RB?
I replied to the other comment, maybe in our FB group we can help you- cause it has to do with your download settings- which I can't see without seeing :)
Can you get the exact colors on the screen on your fabrics? I got my fabric and the color is not the same less vibrant. What did I do wrong?
That depends on the specific fabric.
Some fabrics can take in a file that is RGB and print exact, I have had some fabrics ordered and seen that... However, some will require CMYK color settings.
Hi Mey,
Your videos are so informative and helpful! Thank you for sharing this. Can we use creative fabrica files with the repper app?
You can use any file you have the rights to use
So if you have their membership or purchased the item- sure !
I would like to create fabric patterns.
Yeah, making fabrics with this tool can be awesome !!
I have a fabric from printful I ordered for testing, and also ordered another one from Zazzle to make a comparison video and a general video on selling fabrics online :) Where are you selling your fabrics?
A serious question, why do my repeat patterns that I created from Repper( which I love❤️) have a seam on Red Bubble? I can’t seem to figure out how to these seamless patterns I make on Repper, have a seam?????
Do you see a white line or the issue is that when you repeat them on RB the pattern isn't fully seamless?
The seamless patterns, as mentioned in the video, can be downloaded in a NON seamless format, you need to have the right dimensions for the download... Based on the dimensions of the specific pattern type you chose (they all have a different ratio)
What file size do you download?
I am not sure how we can help here, but if you're on the group please upload a screenshot of the download settings, and maybe we can help :)
This is amazing. Can you tell me what the discount code is again?
Discount code = MEYTRIBE
Kind regards from Wouter (co-founder of Repper ;-)
Hey Mey this was amazing! Can I ask is it possible to do all this and set up a digital biz on Etsy or POD just using an iPad?do you really need a pc too? Thank you so much! ❤
I haven't checked how this program runs on an iPad, and also i know that with Etsy, and other sites, sometimes your access to the dashboard can be limited from an app. I will def vote for using a computer (usually they also have larger storage options...)
I will try and check in the next few weeks several sites and programs using an ipad...
Looks like Adobe capture a bit, but more pattern choices.
Adobe Capture is indeed a bit like Repper (we came first ;-) I think Adobe Capture is great fun and also gives you quick results. Repper is more for those who want to make a lot patterns and do a lot more with them. That's why we built collection management, 3D preview, tons of tilings, precise export controls, and more. It's free (and no strings attached) for 14 days, so you're welcome to compare them. We'd love to know what you think!
@@repper thanks so much for your response, I’m definitely interested in trying. I’m waiting for a few uninterrupted days so I can really dive down and play with it. It looks like it has a lot of robust options, I’m excited to see what I can create!
Yeah, reminds it so much !! also CSP a bit, but it's so much easier using this app than any other tool, especially with the collections and the save button !!
How long is this discount code valid for ?
Hi Astroider, I'm Wouter from Repper. you can start the free trial now and be assured that the discount code is still valid when your trial runs out 👍
@@repper 👍
Yeah, what he said LOL
Hey what should be tge dpi for 4500×5400 dimension?
I don’t understand…
DPI is when you wanna place something to be printed… what is the size of what you want to have the pattern printed on & what is the required DPI from the supplier?
@@MeyTribe its for Redbubble
@@lalalalalalala2627 if it’s for RB than you need to create the patterns to the size that fits the product + the DPI requirement.
Or go with a seamless pattern, to be replicated on the redbubble designer… and choose whatever size you want with a generic 300 DPI.
Btw, I hope you already have a marketing strategy to selling patterns there…
@@MeyTribe marketing strategy to sell there... Kindly elaborate ?
@@lalalalalalala2627 Not sure how to do that in a comment...
1. Cause I don't know you, what kind of patterns will you be making, and where do you want to market.
and 2. since I have had dozens of videos on that, and writing all of them down in a comment would take days.
I have a video on how I used to market my RB shop when I had one, and countless others covering multiple platforms + setting up blogs for promotion.
You can't just go on a platform, upload stuff and expect to get traffic. Not when there are millions of "pattern curtain" there, and thousands of people selling them- who do marketing.
Great 🔝🌟
I know !!
I am wondering if there's any difference between CYMK and RGB like before? because I already subscribed to Repper after finishing your video and I wanna sell digital paper packs on Creative Fabrica using the pattern I made but when I exported it there's no options for color mode.
I already sell the others I made in procreate in RGB Mode.
and by the way, I am watching Print On Demand videos in youtube in 4 different languages and you are the most generous and helpful person I've ever seen!
From what i have seen these are RGB files.
and thanks for the compliment
Hi Meema, Wouter from Repper here 👋 Repper prefers RGB source material and will also export as RGB, so you're all set! If you ever need to use CMYK, I would recommend converting to CMYK in other software after export. Tip: Export as a PNG (not JPEG) to get the best quality for your next step.
@@MeyTribe Hey Mey
They are Arabic, English, German, and Italian.
Arabic, English, and German Have more content about Print On demand and Printables.
@@meema.6479 That's so cool !!!
Using these languages def opens you up to more product options, more markets !
I used to speak Arabic quite well, but i totally forgot most of it (I do still know how to write my name LOL)
its a very good tool but without svg support its used less
There are so many pattern designs on the platforms, how we can positioning?
I'm sorry, I don't understand the question... can you rephrase it ?. you need help with position the design on a product ?
For the dress I believe there is a company that prints material based on your uploaded files.
Yes Spoonflower is the most popular fabric printing company!
Yo uso una app de un solo pago muy buena.
I'm guilty of answering back a lot LOL
Oh, so I'm not THAT crazy ?? LOL
@@MeyTribe if you are crazy, I'm right there along with you girl. 😆🤣 When you're scrolling through stuff or doing something I've got my mouse going trying to look around too. Hehehehe
can you take canva pro anything / send it to repper, then sell it
I think it's about HOW you pattern it.
If the full element is visible and just repeating itself - maybe it wouldn't be sufficient... but if you take some watercolor bunny, focusing on one point, and make something like a brown geometric pattern- it looks NOTHING like the original standalone item, and that shouldn't even be something that people can see what the original was.
For Repper, I found that even free elements get amazing patterns.
BTW, 2 things:
1. We have a FREE repper starter kit on Mey tribe:
meytribe.com/collection/shop
2. Not sure if you've seen the latest Canva video, but I kinda gave a "spoiler" at the end- Repper is gonna be purchasing items from viewers of the channel starting May 1st, making a video about it then ! so that could be super cool !
Thanks for all the useful info. I just downloaded repper (free trial) right now. I see all the sample images. When I try to upload my own it doesn't do anything. The file screen opens and when I pick it nothing happens. Any thoughts? I read all the specs and I got them all, right to my knowledge (less than 2 gigs, bitmap, jpg, png, etc.).
