    I love this series, thank you for all you do! I also have a question, how do you heal from past sexual abuse in order to give yourself fully and freely (sexually) in your marriage? I'm not married yet but Thinking about any sex with a husband gives me anxiety to no end.

I have some resources that have worked for me that I can offer, aside from any short advice I’d be able to give here, as someone who’s free from porn and has been celibate for 2 years. I’m no authority or saint on this matter, but I might be able to help.

      @@xoxobabyimbackxoxo There’s a couple books. The first one is “Two hours to freedom.” By Charles H Kraft. It’s an outline for inviting the healing power of Jesus into any hurt or broken places inside of us.
      The second is more for the nurturing of one’s femininity but touches on this issue as well. Either way, I think it’d help:
      Captivating by John and Stasi Eldredge
      Mainly what has helped so many woman I know become whole and holy is something called “inner healing ministry”. The first book talks about it, and should help you get started with Jesus on that journey if you haven’t already. Let me know if you have questions, sister!

      @jettec9411,
      Just make love (have sex) outside the window of your fertility. You can only make a baby during 4-5 days during the female's ovulation cycle. Or use birth control/contraception.

      Well if you are the type of person who doesn't want kids, then hopefully you are pursuing some sort of vocation that serves the community in a similar fashion. Because if you simply don't want children because they get in the way of your "free time" or hobbies or whatever then it sounds like you are aiming downwards.

      @@JoeyG-o8r well I know of a couple who are married and don't have kids. I'd say that God doesn't want them to have kids. Put it in God's hands. If he wants you to be child free then he'll allow it if not you're children will end up being blessing. I didn't want to be single because I really wanted to be married but I was called to single vocation and I'm very happy. Trusting God is best.

    We blaspheme when we refuse to "admit" sin in our lives.
    Which means that according to this guy if you disagree with him then you've committed an unforgivable sin.
    I can't decide if it's worse that he might actually believe it or if it's worse for him to push people away from the grace of God until they agree with him on his pet issues.

    Non-Catholics are certainly capable of admitting sin in their own lives and repenting and asking God for forgiveness. Will they be denied because they didn't confess their sins to a priest?

    • @dontewithdragons
      @dontewithdragons ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nope. The whole "only confess to a priest" is a Myth, however the Priest is usually in a state of Grace. Only God can forgive our Sins after repentance. About over 90% of the time however people do not know how to repent and live Sinful lifestyles without admitting to themselves the errors in their disordered ways. Check what Father Mike said about the Sacrament of Confession.

    • @JoeyG-o8r
      @JoeyG-o8r 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Possibly. How do you know your sins are forgiven if you don't speak to a man officially consecrated and given authority to forgive sins on behalf of Christ? Authority that can be traced back all the way to Peter.
      I probably have some of the terminology wrong but you get the idea.

      Not really, usually it's that Protestants use blunt terms to describe complex problems. They're usually not completely right but they're not wrong eihter.
      If you're depending on a priest more than God, that's a problem, if you're seeking the approval of a priest or the magisterium then that's a problem.
