At size? and other stores here in Amsterdam they ask you to put on the shoes, you can only purchase your own size of popular brands or models (or you can show them the sizetag of the shoes you’re already wearing). Therefor buying popular brands for my girl is a thing of the past. :)

Problem I have with this shoe is the nubuck…which gets stained by water rather easily. What’s the benefit of having Gore-Tex that’s waterproof, if you combine it with a material that isn’t water-stain proof?

Yeah they will still crease , but not too horribly (yet). I worn them in for a few weekends, and creasing isn’t too bad in the toe box, but the white mid-paneling along the upper will show some folding and morphing . Curry suede also will show dirt stains if you wear them in dirt/dust/sand haha 👍 still makes for a great beater shoe . Good luck !

Aaron Johnson yeah , flannels are one of my favorite pieces to wear as well . My personal favorites are from Express and The GAP because they can be a good balance between streetwear and menswear IMO 👍
Ventilation is a bit limited, but you should be okay as long as you wear more breathable socks . I wore these on a normal warm day and felt only a little hot
Outside the US, in most countries all sales are final, so they probably want to avoid issues, especially with American tourists who are used to returning things.

I consider my feet pretty standard. I think most Nike sneakers in general tend to run more on the narrow side, unfortunately. If you’re gonna try the Jordan 1s, most people recommend true to size. Shops like Size? Don't care about reselling. But it's pretty standard in Europe to try on before buying. Honestly don't know anyone who would buy without trying. Other specialist sneaker shops or independent shops have anti reseller policies but not Size?

These may be my favorite AJ 1 highs in a while - colorway is classic and easiest to wear with multiple fits , the goretex provides some elemental protection, you won’t feel as bad about beating these up and getting them dirty. You’ll get the most bang for your buck with these IMO haha . Brotherhoods are cool too, but colorway is too bright and won’t look as good when they’re worn and abused IMO. It all depends haha. Wish I had a simple answer, but each colorway and version of jordan 1s may have different quality and materials. It can be an overall hit or miss. I personally like the comfort of these - well padded, but are a bit on the snug side which is good if you have normal or narrow feet. I also like jordan 1 lows haha, but some of them have stiff and cheap leather

Absolutely a good first Jordan: Respectable shoe, Neutral colorway goes with a lot of outfits, weather resistant. Yes they will crease though, but not as badly as some other Jordans that come with the stiffer/cheaper leather. Hope this helps !

Are these easy to keep clean because of the material
Unfortunately not quite, you’ll need a good suede/nubuck cleaner for the curry part. It’ll stain pretty easily haha
How were the creases ? Do they crease easy ?
Yes they do, but I’ve had cheap leather that creases worse haha. It’s not horrible, but don’t expect anything like tumbled leather haha
