Growing up in Chicago when I was a kid in the 80s was a different feeling yeah we was too poor never ask my parents for a pair of Jordans I just stood on the TV watch Mj play telling myself one day I am going to get me them shoes now Im 41 I have them n collect them.
The white Grape 5s were the first Jordan kicks I ever saw in a retailer. It was 1991 and I was 13 years old and sadly could not ask my folks to pay for them, they were more expensive than Nike Airs but my buddy bought them and some stonewash jeans with money from his elder brother, the most crispy fit I had ever layed eyes on. I settled for Huarache's. The next pair I saw in a sport shop were the Bordeaux 7s and something about that colourway was unforgetable but still had to settle for some white Nike Air hightops with a blue metalic swoosh and those monster Sir Charles claws around the toe box. I have a vague memory of those 7s being unavailible by the time I could afford them and knowing I had missed the boat. I never saw the games Jordan played, british TV was more about soccer in those days.

Silhouette-13 I think is the most beautiful, plus looks very durable with that massive leather. But 11 is so unique with that glossy "lacquer" layer. And if 11 is then bred or Space Jam colorway?
