Chicharrones are often eaten by cutting them into bite-size pieces and then cooking them in some red or green chile sauce. This will make them softer and easier to eat them, even in a taco. :D
@@projectspiffo9949 I live in New Mexico which is known for it's Hatch Chile Peppers. I've also cooked dishes by using both types of Chicharones (Pork rinds) in chile sauce. Both are delicious however the harder Mexican type of Chicharrones keeps its texture better than the regular pork rinds. My mother is from Mexico and I live close to the border with Mexico so believe me, I grew up eating these dishes.
I’m not Hispanic but when I was little the grocery stores were all closed on Christmas Day and the only thing that was open was a Mexican supermarket and it was sooo much fun and memorable! I just looked up Vallarta and there’s one a half hour away! I’ll have to go sometime but definitely only habla un poquito de Español!
