Reliability is so underrated lol I have an F20 FRS and I have kept it simple with headers and a tune. I’m at 155k miles and hope to keep this guy lasting through 400k

I hope to someday own a type R, but this dc5 will not be sold. Looks amazing, has been so reliable, and the joy to drive has been > ( pre & post most mods). Preciate your video bro 100%
I’ve got a 2002 EP3 Si with a K20A3 motor. 293K miles is where it currently sits. I don’t plan on putting any forced induction on the motor, and instead want to swap it for a K20A2/K20A at some point, but I seriously appreciate the reliability of this motor. It does 52 miles every day for my commute, and hasn’t had more than a small oil leak from the VTEC solenoid gasket. Absolutely love this motor
Please Can you tell the K20 engine come from the Honda integra DC5 or even other Honda cars because i wanna to know about the K20 or K24 engine come from.
I don’t get it. So its selling point you’re suggesting is its reliability….? All the other K20 variants are already reliable. K20Z3 can make nearly 400whp with stock internals just fine, so the 197hp from the factory is beyond reliable as well. There is no reason to get an a3 except for its reduced cost.
its always like that, toyota 3s engines do the same thing, all 2.0 starting from 156 to 200 something hp, most reliable ? the 156 one with just variable intake lenght and its a non interference engine so u can fuck all replacing that stripey boi on camshafts :p. As long as it gets fresh oil every now and then its gonna tank through all redline abuse like it does in my daily driven sw20

Nah, every k20 is reliable but your last statement kinda highlights the point of, its kinda underrated for what it is, but i do agree with you 100%

If you want honda reliability that will outlast your own life, is the single cam f22 or f23 from 90-02 accord super reliable engine

actually you can make 300 whp stock
with enough money + work and the manual absolutely, idk if the auto will hold with those numbers though.
