I can't wait until you've completed the loop and have time to post the entire trip . I hope the captain found some time to paint or at least found inspiration for future art works. Keep up the great work.
Ohhh i miss u guys when I see these updates ! You are so colourful, flavourful. It is a pleasure seeing u. Hope to meet in person sometimes in the next year . Take good care xxxx
Happy your travels are going well. Was nice to see your river groove and lock loopers along with your night crossing included Stay Cool and Witness. Two great families! Enjoy Florida. Hope you invite us to see Bahamas as well. Stay safe.
It was so fun crossing with Witness!!! Lots of videos about that crossing and the Bahamas coming soon. Well maybe not soon since we have a crazy month ahead bute coming eventually :)
Glad to see you are much more relaxed. Reviewing and earlier video, back when you stayed your fist nights on the boat, how do you feel now? I commented on how you would get used to it and how I was missing spending extended time on the a boat. Do you feel you will miss being on the boat?
If you go to Nassau treat yourselves to Cafe Matisse. It's downtown near the water but not on the water. They have a wonderful enclosed courtyard. I have been eating there since 1996. I'm not a local. Live in Montreal, tee
Just going get my pension funds and we are looking for the big loop, either in Europe or in US. US is much longer trip but we got now time and time... :P Lets see if we can get this loop started in next 2 years or so. Needs boat and some sort of base home. We love winter time too and snow so we might get it in north somewhere. Visas are not the problem cos we are from Finland EU. Keep sailing!!
I have totally enjoyed watching your videos!! I have never done the loop, but we have been to the Bahamas many times as a family of 6 (my wife and I, plus our 4 kids). We LOVE the Bahamas, especially the exumas. Here are some tips: Bimini sands marina was doing a good weekly rate. North end of Bimini is new and nicer by the Hilton. But you can dinghy up there if you stay at Bimini sands. Some great snorkeling around Bimini, but we usually don’t even stop at Bimini… just drive right by. Chub - nice, expensive tho. Nassau- kids love to stay at Atlantis. You can go to the hotel/water parks. An expensive marina, but worth it - no other marina has a huge water park! Berry islands have some cool stuff to explore. Not too many marinas Exumas - I am so excited for you to check this part out. It’s more remote, clearest water you will ever see. Highbourne marina is our first stop. Very nice, I like the restaurant there. There is so much to say, but our kids fav is compass cay marina, swimming in thunderball is a must, as is pig beach, they are right by staineil cat, but you can take your dinghy from compass cay too. We stay at compass and Staniel - not as many go south from Staniel but some great spots. Exuma/Georgetown we have left our boat there and flown home to California, same with Nassau. Take a lot of food etc with you, everything is expensive once your there. We spend a lot of time in the dinghy there, and a lot of swimming. We fish a little but not my thing. I don’t know the other parts of the Bahamas but happy to talk if you have questions- Wes. 208.351.4153 But just enjoy it out there !!! Some of the best boating on earth.
Wind is not a boaters friend. We had to sell our boat, my knees would sometimes give out when I had to jump out onto docks, husband couldn’t get down fly bridge fast enough so we had to sell - worst decision ever! Miss it so much.
Assuming there was a couple wishing to copy your adventure and was interested in a boat such as Sea Shine, and someone were to putting a boat up for sale to a deserving couple, what might be a value one might be expecting? On the hard, Ed
Enjoy the Keys! We are in Jupiter so let me know if you are going to stop anywhere in Palm Beach County before getting to Stuart. I would love to meet you (former Atlanta residents, IT executives retired from Coca-Cola & CDC). Would love to talk about your Great Loop adventure & what’s next. Don’t go back to ATL!!! Why not stay here in Florida?🛥🛥🛥
We would love to meet you guys in person & are only about 15 minutes from a North Palm. Do you guys already have plans for Saturday? Maybe you could come up to our house in Jupiter for lunch?
I got the device away from my human, FuzzyNugget here, I am finally happy that I got to see my clients the SeaCats, they looked good and in good hands, I was beginning to wonder if they were even on board, I as their virtual agent was getting worried....... Rut Roe my human is coming back I need to wrap this up otherwise if I get caught on his device " No treat's for me" safe travels FuzzyNugget and my human Scott Quick here he comes 🐈😺😺
Well Hello FuzzyNugget! Ship kitties here. Life aboard is great except when our floating home starts to really move. We don't like that so much. But we do love all the birds we get to see. The seagulls are our favorites. Hope your human is treating you well. Angie & Jojo

Hi Mike! Thanks so much for being patient with us. It will be fun to edit once we weren't in the middle of it.
Ohhh i miss u guys when I see these updates ! You are so colourful, flavourful. It is a pleasure seeing u. Hope to meet in person sometimes in the next year . Take good care xxxx
Awww. We miss you too! Definitely need to plan some fun together in the future! xoxo
Loving the Keys also! Right nearby at Blackfin 🏝
Aren't the Keys the best! We wanted to go check out Blackfin while we were there but never made it. Guess we just have to go back :)

We will miss it for sure! But it will also be nice to be home for a bit. And dream about our next boat and next adventure.

Sadly we did not make it there. Guess we just need to go back soon! :)
“If it’s gonna happen, it’s gonna happen out there.” 😂

This is FANTASTIC info! Thank you so much!!!! Bahamas here we come!
Your kids get to see the country and meet the nicest neighbors on the planet. Boaters talk and help each other way better than any landlubbers.
100% agree! Boats are incredible and hopefully all four of us are learning to be that helpful both on t and off the boat.
Y'all are doing great!! Were y'all able to stop at Cabbage Key and have a "Cheeseburger in Paradise"?
We did! We stayed their one night on our way to the Keys. Fun stop.
Hi guys, always enjoy your channel. Just curious what you both do for a living?
Great question -- Mark is a fine artist and Cinda is an entrepreneur.
Wind is not a boaters friend. We had to sell our boat, my knees would sometimes give out when I had to jump out onto docks, husband couldn’t get down fly bridge fast enough so we had to sell - worst decision ever! Miss it so much.
Awww. I am so sorry to hear that. Boating is not easy on the body. But I bet you have so many great memories. Sending you love.
Great video! One correction, that was NOT a 22 Catalina! It was a Venture brand sailboat! Totally different boat, Like a Cadillac vs Kia! 😊
Great catch LOL. Clearly we aren't sailors :)
Whats the plan after the loop?
Sell SeaSHINE and back to land life👍🏻That’s not the end of our boating though! ⚓️
