Nice video. Remember, always start aircraft before turning on any avionics or radios :-) I would recommend looking up a checklist for the aircraft you fly on the sim. You will find the switch panels way more interactive. The 172 for instance will have a pre start checklist, after start, run up, line up etc. you will love the switch panel way more.

I have same setup minus the extra quadrant all setup with a set of triple 32inch curved monitors enclosed in a cardboard box cockpit, Fun indeed for this old man. Happy Xmas.

Nice review, I have been flying with those three Saitek panels since they first came out plus a Twin throttle housing and one Saitek Flight Instrument Panel which is a multi instrument you can set, I have mine set as the Altimeter, but you can choose it to be any instrument or purchase extra ones to build a complete instrument panel. My favourite is the Multi Panel with the complete working AP a Auto Throttle, Pitch Trim Wheel and Flaps Lever. They all lock together I have a set up one above the other then the same fastened to the side which gives you an almost complete cockpit, A quick and easy way to make a fully functioning cockpit.
That sounds like an amazing setup & I agree, the Logitech/Saitek panels are an excellent way to build a home cockpit.

I have the complete system, including the rudder pedals. am very satisfied with it. ou show in the video that there is a sliht delay in the yoke. i solved this bij mounting a Leo Bodnar BU0638A. PCB in the Yoke unit. Then there is no more delay and the yoke system works just like all other brands. Various videos can be found on You Tube for the assembly.

Edit: There's 3rd party 3d printed wedges to angle the throttles to a more comfortable angle. Those are great.

Hi there. Hope you are feeling better by now. I too had a brief with Covert. Have you had any problems with the radio panel or the multi panel? I have heard of problems and no support from Saitek/Logitech. What has your experience? I have the Throttle Quadrant, pedals, yoke, and Air Manager for gauges and am considering the Radio and Multi panels. Also is one Radio panel enough? Some people have two or three. Thanks so much for the video.
All recovered now thanks Jay. I find one radio panel is enough, but it's a preference thing.
I haven't reached out to Logitech for support, but I've not heard the greatest things about them.
@@Huddison I got enough Christmas money to buy the Radio and Multi panels. Basically my sim is just for the Cessna. Once I learn to fly and the basics of radios and navigation I intend to build a 737 simulator. Have a bunch of parts 3D printed using Karl at SIM plans and STL files.

question for you, what are the 3 usb slots on the Saitek flight yoke for?
It's effectively a USB hub: so you can hypothetically power your Multi/Radio panels etc, with it.
It's not something I've done (as of yet) and heard lots of issues using it that way.
What; no flight instrument panels; I got 3 so I can see guauges better than cockpit view . I kept my radio and multipanel to go with my Alpha and Bravo. I sold my logitech Yoke and throttle and switch panel for $150 bucks eh! Recover well; I got COVID after having a pacemaker installed last week; with vaccine only 'down' a few days from the covid; feeling way better now.

I picked these up in a 2nd hand bundle awaiting my PC upgrade...but ...mine are all Saitek. I'm guessing the internals are the same and just a brand name changed following the buy out ???? 🤔 p.s. great vids

It's the Gigabyte G5 3060 RTX variant. I would advise going for a Desktop PC, as you get 'more bang for the buck' (power-wise).

Absolutely; I use the Radio panel often with my V1 Flight Yoke.

On Starting at 5:40 Before turning the RUN SWITCH to START, Don't U have Push Mixture Full Rich Prop Full Forward and Crack the Throttle Before the Engine Will start? U know like the FULL Scale (REAL C-172) With 180 HP w/Constant Speed Prop? Just asking?
The C-172 only has Mixture and that was full in.
@@Huddison The 172RG is a Skyhawk with a 180hp engine, constant speed prop and retractable landing gear. This aircraft qualifies under the FAA's guidance as a complex aircraft. Just saying Bro
I have issues getting the panels to work. I have the same panels as you do but when I plug them into the Yoke only one works. I have downloaded the drivers but still cannot get it to work. Do you need to have the AC adapter to make it work like that? Or do you have to plug them into dedicated USB ports on the computer itself?
Plug them into dedicated USB ports on your PC, or via a USB hub.

Hey quick question. I have purchased 2 logitech throttles for use with multi engine ga aircraft.
I can't seem to setup the throttles as seperate inputs in msf2020 whatever I set on 1 thrtottle quad seems to carry over to the second as well for some reason? Any ideas why they seems to use the same input even though they are different devices?
Is one of the throttled attached to your Logitech yoke, or are the both independent units?
I really do need to make a video on this.
Spad.Next might be your solution. It can control most peripherals including all Saitek. Several videos on YT about it.
your right about the usb hubs they don't work as they are suppose to. now on to another problem with the flight yoke not working in MSFS but in the control panel testing it is fine, but when i go into the game and try testing the surface movements before take off, nothing moves. have you heard any complaints regarding this and if so have you heard of any fix.
DO you have anything showing for the yoke surfaces in Controls options?

They work with the driver installed, linked in the description.

I tried everything but couldn't get the Switch Panel to work. I have Wins 11 if that's the issue.

Hi everyone, big question from a noob, how do you power all of those Logitech components?
Having the hardest time to power Flight Instrument Panel on my Alienware Aurora R12 with either USB 2.0ports (tried USB extension cord and added a powered USB 2.0 Hub) or USB 3.x ports.
I only get the Flight Instrument Panel to flash the upper arrow in the front, that it.
No issues with the Flight Yoke, Flight Switch Panel or the Flight Throttle Quadrant.
But if I plug the Flight Instrument Panel to the Flight Yoke then I get a message that not enough power..
Any hints are welcomed.
Hmm, they seem to all work with my Gigabyte G5 Laptop, using a USB extension hub.
Might be best joining our Discord (linked in description) and showing us the error messages etc.
@@Huddison Good news! uninstalled all Logitech apps, disconnected all Logitech gear. reinstalled apps including Flight Panel Driver, plugged back the gear and voila! everything works now including the Flight Panel.
All gear is connected to a USB 2.0 powered hub which in turn is connected to USB 2.0 Extender Cable to my PC.
Unplugged everything and plugged it back again and all works!
Logitech wasn’t much help as their support email/chat is kind of overwhelmed.

They are fairly cheap to buy on Ebay.
My first comment since joining. it hink I made a mistake by including the logitech flight switch panel with my Velocity one yoke. It came up an error asking if I wanted to get a new controller. I am using msfs in my PC and wanted to get the radio and nav contros so that I don't have to use the mouse to000000000000000000001turn frequencies on, Any suggestions
The Switch Panel should work fine with the velocity one.
What else do you have connected to your PC & did you install the logitech all-in-one drivers for the panel?

I have the 2nd Logitech throttle quadrant but both MSFS & XPlane don't recognize it. Both have a green LED so getting power. Any idea what I need to do ?
It might be worth installing the driver linked in the description, or try a different usb port.
@@Huddison Thanks, I've tried everything I can think of. I notice the green LED on controller 2 is dimmer than the main quadrant. Is yours the same ? Maybe it's a USB power issue ? I've tried swapping out ports till I'm blue in the face.
@@Huddison I've finally figured it out. Seems as though all the throttle controls from quadrant 1 are assigned to my saitek yoke, the 2nd quadrant is separate but working ok. Weird, but I'm getting somewhere.
