She struggled with the transition between head and chest voice during songs in the competition but now with all this experience, her range as increased and you can't hear that transition at all. She has such an amazing career ahead of her.

Lots of people I know saying John was harsh for saying that to her, but I utterly think it helped her massively in her career she was good before but when John pushed her to show emotion etc it really brought out her true talent

This video is truly inspirational to any young aspiring actors on the Isle of Man. I have met Sam on a couple of occasions and watch her perform here at home. She is an honest hard working girl who appreciates her good fortune and remains grounded. Her performance as Eponine in the stage performance was out of this world and it's no wonder she was chosen for the movie. I wish this Manx Maid great success in the future.

To think that she was 17 in I'd Do Anything... as a 17 year old Singer/Actress/sort of dancer it makes me work that much harder when I do shows and concerts. And of course, makes me realize how ridiculous my life is compared to hers, but it's not good to compare, so... :)

Well, considering that the songs were recorded live and Taylor can't stay on pitch long enough to get through a verse, I don't think it would have worked out. Besides, her voice, though good, is too pop-ish to fit into Les Mis, and I don't find her acting abilities especially moving... In fact, I don't think she could act to save her life.
