PET LOSS, CAMERA ANXIETY & WAFFLE - Because I still suck at these vlogs

- It's my second vlog.... LOADS of videos.. two vlogs lol. If this one doesn't drive you to boredom I'll do some more. On camera anxiety workthough as I discuss we wee legend!
Oh and a couple of board games.. because.
Hi there. I watch The Family Showdown and saw you talking in the live chat and wanted to check out your channel and it looks amazing so far. I have only watched a few videos but you seem like such a down to earth lady and I am loving what you do. I completely understand the anxiety about being on camera. I don't have a channel but anytime in my life (through college/university) that I've had to be recorded, it was awful. But please don't worry about your appearance (although I know its easier said than done) because from all the comments, all anyone cares about is that you are happy. I am 22 and overweight and it is not a nice feeling but at the end of the day, we need to be proud of ourselves and what we have accomplished. Well done on the vlog. I am also so so sorry to hear about your dear dog. I have also lost many pets in my life and to some, they may be 'just' animals but to many they are part of the family. What a gorgeous animal. I hope I am not stepping out of line here with all of this but I want you to know that someone completely new to your channel is routing for you. And I'm very sorry for your loss. X

I'm overweight and have just started going to the gym (yesterday).... everything hurts lol. Also.. it's the gym.. ugh... who likes that in front of all those perfect gym people, but I am hoping it will make me feel better in the long run. At the end of the day though, if you're healthy and happy... F it I guess. You're 22 ... oh to be 22 again!! and what a lovely girl you are. Keep on rockin Monique, you're a great human!

I too hate being on camera I get highly anxious and just put myself down, I hate watching myself - but I can tell you with all honesty that you have a great presence on camera. You are very witty and verbally natural. With more experience you will get more physically relaxed as well and less intimidated by the lens. Then you may even enjoy it... and until that happens you are still highly entertaining and just because you may not be enjoying it doesn't mean we aren't! So please keep going.
You are very kind, I am sure I would feel the same about you. It is hard when you judge yourself so harshly isn't it. I am hoping to try more and more so it becomes easier, it won't change how I look, but I am hoping it will change how I feel about it lol

As for being in front of the camera, I completely get it. Doing the live playthroughs is SOOOOO beyond my comfort zone. Even after a year of doing them, I would still get panic attacks 3-4 hours before going live. So, bravo for getting in front of the camera! 👍

I am still so sad about our dog, but I am pouring my love into our other dog and she is going quite well given she is extremely sick. Hoping she makes it to Christmas.
sorry to hear about your furbabies Angela. My poor bully Deuce lost his battle with cancer 2 weeks ago. It's amazing how much they love we can have for our furry family members.
I am so sorry to hear about Deuce, it is just so hard isn't it. I hope it is getting a little better. I am still missing Huxley's little face, but it is getting easier I guess (but them we have our other dog to pour love into I guess).

Well I am glad it is not just me. So long as I don't start hiding them and meeting in car parks (like they do on TV when doing drug deals lol).

Pets dying is shitty, my ken was 19 and woody was 15 when they died but they got manky with old age as cats do. Ken died in 2011 and even now thinking about them makes me sad but ive got 4 other cats now. Well done on being on video, we all get old.
It really does suck. 19 is astounding for a cat no? Ambro (the one we still have) is way over her lifespan for her breed.
Oh, that's so sad... I have two cats and I can't imagine losing one of them... Good you have those very nice memories though!
