I love how depressing this game feels, from the very start you can't even see a way out of the poor protagonist.
In the end, every endings lead to the same result of him dying.
The only thing that matters that is how he accepts it.

i think thats the message this game is trying to tell, bad stuff will happen to you, and youll go through awful times. what matters is how you come out at the end of it

In my interpretation, I think the game is like a meta narrative thing; kinda like Undertale. It explains itself in the "Totality" ending.
The game itself is referring to the player.
"Well, do you know the answer yet?", The frog, or yourself asks to yourself.
"There is no answer.", you say after finishing all endings, but still confused and lost.
"All that, and you still don't get it? Why do you keep trying?", you ask yourself. Why do you keep trying to get all the endings? why do you keep exploring the game? That is for you to answer.
"No, I get it more than anyone.",
"You're me, and I'm you, after all.", because it is you, the character, the frog.
"You can stop looking now.", either refers to us looking at the screen, or us still exploring the game for more endings/secrets it may hold.
"You want more? You still want entertainment?", the main character, or the game itself asks, maybe even ourselves, asking why do we want to dig up and explore more of the game, and the game responds back:
"You're sick."
it's terrifying how there's no way out, but only void
I will be fully remaking this video with the perdition update comes out with those endings and the new door dreams leading up to perdition so stay tuned for that when perdition comes along some time later
In the coalesce ending does the choice matter if so what does it say with the other choice and which choice did u pick
@@sushamasikder2982the choices matter, you can pick [1] to fuse with the being and get the coalesce ending or pick [2] to stay. staying will let you still play the game to reach day 5. dialogue [1] is shown in the video while there's is no dialogue for [2]
i imagine the protagonist is some sort of flightless bird that is related with turkey vulture

Oh thank you so much for these, i really don't have the patience to walk for 4 hours trying to get any progress and getting stopped by bugs and glitches
I did it in about 7~ hours today without any help until I had CONVALESCE and RECRUDESCE left, then I found this video for the requirements. In the time I had yet to run into any major bugs or glitches. The game stalled twice in that period during the beginning of those runs but that's as bad as it got, only got set back like 10 minutes.

while playing this game, i was super paranoid some sort of uhh idk like, strange monster is gonna come and attack me, which didn't happen, and after the tutorial and after i probably eaten enough and the sleeping dialog, where it said they weren't gonna beg at all, and after they said "if you don't like that then you can leave" (or something like that) i disconnected and actually thought for a moment that was scripted
I’m so glad I found this cause I was so confused- I found a weird spinning orb thing and then it started raining and I thought I would get a cool endearing cause it said something was moving in my head but then I got eaten by a worm cause it couldn’t hear it over the rain lol
i love how relatable this game is
A funny thing i found, if you're having trouble you can stall by just not sleeping and afking in shelter.

im still waiting for a long comment that explains the lore for me
I think there's no specific "lore". It's just a game in a form of metaphor about struggling to survive (It's my interpretation, I may be extremely wrong)
pretty sure the lore is that sundowner (the protag) is in a delusion world, delusion world is essentially a world made up by the host (ex. sundowner), wether it'd be something from trauma or to escape from reality. we don't know what trauma sundowner went thru to get into this hellhole,,, but anyways the whole story is a death loop, explained by the totality ending, where sundowner acknowledges the existence of the player and tells them they're sick.
(also the game takes place in SSL(a game with overarching stories spread out thru games(ex. moonstomach, dreameater, shear, tenants, etc etc(it's still a delusion world BUT the delusion world exists inside the ssl universe(im bad at explaining)))))

you know the achievement COALESCE reminds me of another game on roblox just called COALESCE. A 2014 game but it's dead now, though I wonder if they got the name of the achievement from that game or not.
i associate the word coalesce with the freaky spider things from rain world.
What animal are you supposed to be, are you even one or its a human? there are just things that makes me think its a human but other proofs that the main character is an animal
I think it's a human descendant that has regressed to be more primal than modern humans while still maintaining a level of complex intelligence and sentience. My only argument for this is the fact that its nest shows clear signs of manufacturing (the steps and the lightbulb)
